Description
Set out in the countryside between Martina Franca & Ceglie lies Trullo & Villa Sorellina. With lots of original features & charm this three cone trullo/villa with its pool & lots of things to do is the perfect place for relaxing or exploring Puglia. The property is tastefully decorated in keeping with the trullo/villa with the benefit of lots of mod cons. Sleeps 10
The property is comprised of two parts, a trullo & a villa, which are just 3 metres apart from each other.
The trullo comprises a sitting room, kitchen-diner, three bedrooms & two bathrooms.
TRULLO
SITTING ROOM
The spacious sitting room has two sofas & an armchair, perfect for relaxing & watching a TV on the 32", internet ready flat screen or playing on the X box or surfing on the wifi. There are plenty of books for all ages to enjoy. The sitting room also has air-con which feeds to the two bedrooms.
From the sitting room the double doors lead out onto the patio with views of the pool & garden area
Small breakfast KITCHEN 1
In the villa we have a kitchen for 10 people to dine in, therefore we have created a small kitchen in the trullo should you wish to make drinks, breakfast, snacks etc. Here we have a fridge/freezer, second fridge for keeping drinks cool, gas hob, kettle, toaster, Nespreso capsule coffee machine and of course the crockery, cutlery etc for your use.
There is a small round table which seats 4 people.
TRULLO MASTER BEDROOM
The spacious bedroom has a double bed with bedside cabinets and lamps, a chest of drawers with mirror above and a range of built in wardrobes where you will also find the hairdryer. There is a USB charging point either side of the bed & artwork to compliment the room. All this under the high ceiling of the trullo cone. The window which also has a mosquito net, looks out onto the front of the property towards the pool.
TRULLO BEDROOM 2
The light & airy second bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds* with bedside cabinets & lamps, a large chest of drawers containing the hairdryer for this room & there is a curtained alcove for hanging clothes. There is a full length mirror and nearby you find the USB charging point. The window which also has a mosquito net, looks out to the front of the property towards the pine trees and pool
**On request, when booking, these beds can be put together to make a double if you require.
BATHROOM 1
This long bathroom has a walk-in shower with shower curtain, WC, bidet, wash hand basin, towel rail, hooks and a shelved unit for storage of your personal toiletries. The window which also acts as a mirror looks out onto the back of the property.
Joined to the trullo but with a separate entrance is:
LAMIA BEDROOM 3
With lovely barrelled ceiling, part exposed stone walls, this room has 2 single beds**, bedside cabinets with lamps, chest of drawers containing the hairdryer for this room & a full length mirror. There are two USB charging points by the bedside cabinets and the room also has air-con. The window looks out onto the courtyard & onto the shrubs.
**On request, when booking, these beds can be put together to make a double if you require.
ENSUITE for bedroom 3
This bathroom has a walk-in shower with shower curtain, WC, bidet & wash hand basin with mirror and light above. A high window looks out onto the rear of the property.
Notes: It is possible to put a travel cot into bedroom 2 if required.
Trullo & Villa Sorellina are separated by a delightful courtyard and this is where most of our guests tend to gather together at night on the comfortable outdoor sofas and chairs. More later in our description.
VILLA SORELLINA
KITCHEN / DINING ROOM
The kitchen is very well equipped with full size oven, 4 ring gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, large Nespresso capsule coffee machine, blender, electric whisk, decent knives for food preparation and of course plenty of pots, pans, crockery, glasses and cutlery for 10 people. The is space to prepare food nearby to the cooker on the worktop and above we have air-con which also feeds the two bedrooms.
The window looks out onto the pool
The modern dining table with its funky, comfortable coloured seats is great for coming together to eat and seats up to 10 people.
BEDROOM 4
This comfortable room has a large double bed with memory foam mattress, bedside cabinets with lamps, large chest of drawers were you will find the hairdryer for this room & a curtained alcove for hanging your clothes. There is a full length mirror & near to the door you will find the USB charging point. The window which has both shutters and mosquito net looks out onto the pathway that joint the villa to the trullo.
BEDROOM 5
This room contains 2 comfortable single beds each with bedside cabinet & reading lamp. There are two large chest of drawers & a full length mirror. The window which has a mosquito net looks out onto the pool.
