Description
The Olive Shadow Villa is a stunning, large two story villa that can accommodate 10+2 people. It has been named by its eighteen olive trees surrounding the house in a well crafted, Mediterranean style garden that is beautified with lavender, roses as well as a stunning bougainville flower. There is an outdoor private pool (pictures are coming soon). The Olive Shadow Villa is rented on weekly or daily basis (min 3 days stay) . The apartment is fully air conditioned, fully refurbished with a high standard furniture and appliances. Pretty much everything is brand new and internet wired. There are two parking spaces available for various motor and non-motor vehicles available for your use. Guests are welcomed to enjoy outdoor grilling in a stand alone grill set up which is perfectly suitable for grilled calamari, octopus, fish and sizzling lamb chops. That in a combination with home grown garden tomatoes is a perfect start for a group dinner. The Olive Shadow Apartment is located in the City of the Diocletian Palace, a UNESCO protected world monument that was build in 3rd century anno domini. Local beaches offer first and foremost swimming and boating in a pristine sea, beach volleyball, endless coffee drinking in a nearby beach bar, scooter driving and boat excursions. Of course, all of this is accessible to our guests by foot. The City of Split is a lively Mediterranean City that offers numerous events during the summer time: Split Music Festivals, Split Summer Festivals, various artistic performances, plenty of bars and restaurants, and very good looking people strolling around the City. We, your hosts, are here to help you out with where to go and what to see. When making a payment , please note if you book via Holliday Lettings there is a 3% fee which the booker needs to pay upon arrival . Alternatively , we can issue an invoice which also has a wiring fee which is a payment responsibility of a booker. Thank you.

30% deposit is to be made if you are interested in securing your reservation. Smoking - we do not allow smoking in the inside premises of the Olive Shadow. Smokers are welcome to use both southern and western terraces if they wish to smoke. We kindly ask if our guests can obey this rule, and leave the Olive Shadow in the same condition as they receive it, as we want all of our guests to have a relaxing, enjoyable and happy vacation at the Olive Shadow.

The Olive Shadow is a truly spacious and comfortable home that is located in the residential part of the City of Split, yet it is close to the beaches, supermarkets, bars, coffee shops, and all amenities that a City can provide. The great thing about Olive Shadow is that it gives you privacy and ability to enjoy your holiday to the fullest. In addition to a well furnished and artsy decorated interior design, the Olive Shadow also gives options to our guests to play table tennis which we have set up in the house itself, and it can be used at your own inconvenience. Finally, the Olive Shadow has a private outdoor pool.

The Olive Shadow has a beautiful large outdoor pool which is used only privately. This pool is the freshest addition to the Olive Shadow's beautiful outdoor surroundings including: southern terrace which can be accessed directly from the living room and the Olive bedroom, as well as the Western terrace which has a stunning sea view. The Western terrace is recommended for group or family dinners as it provides a nice shade and is very spacious (70m2). Al fresco dinners? Highly recommended.

“The real Olive Shadow”
We were a family of 9, 5 Adults and 4 children ages 13, 12,9,8 staying for two weeks and found the villa to be more than large enough for our needs and the equipment a plenty. The pool is fantastic and plenty of seating for all of us as was the covered dining area. The owners Vera and Lovre could not have been more helpful as was the communication with Jasna. There is a massive Konzum supermarket close by that deliver by internet which was fantastic or just drop in also a massive plodine supermarket close by. We hired a mini bus for the 9 of us which is a must to see the sights such as Zadar and the sea organ, Split and down the coast to the most amazing beaches of Omis and Brea. Also the Krka water falls are a must as you can swim with the kids safely. The area the villa is in looks a little run down but we found it to be peaceful and safe at night also the local beaches are lovely if the area to be a little run down. Ten min walk along the road were more stone beaches and bars. Overall with the price of the villa we loved the Villa and pool plus Croatia and would not hesitate to go back. 1 small thing is there are lots of Mosquitoes outside at night so we had lots of Mosquitoes coils and candles when we eat which saved being eaten. Also there could be more Literature in the villa of places to visit and eat.

“A holiday with everything we hoped for”
We loved the villa, Lovre the owner could not have been more obliging ( he rescued us when we got lost ,showed us round Split and its road system, even taxied us to a restaurant and brought us home later on our first evening ) Local beaches short walk away, Split old town was beautiful with lots of good restaurants . Trogir well worth visiting with a lovely historic old town and harbour ,again with some fine restaurants. Liked very much the local Croatian people who we met ,all were friendly and welcoming and English was widely spoken. Wouldn't hesitate to return.
