Chalet la Moraine is a wonderful self catering chalet in the beautiful Chamonix valley. Set in a large garden with parking for up to 6 cars. The Chalet is in a stunning location with views from every window up and down the Chamonix valley (especially from the enormous southerly facing deck and balcony up to Mont Blanc).The 5 bedrooms all with ensuite or private bathrooms can be made up as either superking doubles or 2 large singles. Chalet facilities include; open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen, free wifi, Satellite TV (full Sky package in the lounge including movies and sport), beautiful log burner and supply of logs for cosy evenings and a huge DVD collection. This floor also has a separate large sauna suite and its own shower. The large Arctic Spa hot tub on the deck has amazing views up to Mont Blanc.
The Chalet is in the perfect location to access all the skiing in the Chamonix valley. It is a 2 minute walk away from the ski bus stop, and a further couple of minutes walk takes you to the local train stop that runs up and down the valley. We provide guest passes so you can use the bus and train for free. There is a bar & a restaurant within 15 minutes walk.
The Chalet is family friendly and we have travel cots, high chairs a changing mat, baby bath, baby monitor etc for our younger guests.
On arrival at Chalet La Moraine you will be met by our local friendly Chalet Manager who will explain how everything works and ensure you have everything you need for a memorable holiday. Alternatively we can arrange a contactless arrival with your meet & greet via Whatsapp etc.

“Refused to rent it to us”
Refused to rent it to us through this website because they might have to refund if we cannot travel because of the virus. So they are more than happy to take and keep your money if you are legally prevented from travelling to France, but they can't do it through this website because of the covid cancellation policy. Conclude what you will about people who act in this way. Would you want to rent from someone who will keep your money because you have the virus, or the border has been closed?

“Immense!!”
I rarely give reviews. Now I am compelled to, and words fail me. The chalet does all it says on the tin. And more. You won’t be disappointed (except when it’s time to go home!!). Book it and love it. We did.
