Description
Perched on a rocky outcrop 100m from the river Jabron Le Hameau des Liesses was built in 1739. If its north façade gives it airs fortress nestled on a cliff, it was with surprise that we discover its southern slope open over the valley, nature and the sun of Provence. In the middle of the courtyard fountain lulls tranquility dry stone buildings. Away from the main roads, the quiet is assured because the fields, lavender, fruit trees and sheep are our only neighbors. We offer four cottages. All are simply renovated in the pure Provencal style. The rooms are spacious (about 34m2) and authentic. They all have an independent entrance, mountain views and a south orientation. We are writing primarily for lovers of peace and nature. Located at the crossroads of the Vaucluse, the Drôme and Alpes de Haute Provence, the Hameau des Liesses is the ideal place to discover the Haute Provence, hike or just lounging in the shade of weeping willows with the canvas bottom of the Montagne de Lure so dear to Giono.
