Description

Elm Cottage is located within the grounds of the owners 16th Century thatched cottage which is situated in the hamlet of Strettington, on the edge of the Goodwood estate. The property sleeps 2 people and has its own private patio and garden with BBQ. Freeview TV, internet access and wifi are available.

Originally part of the outbuildings of the main house, Elm Cottage is a delightful flint and brick cottage which has been tastefully converted to form a spacious studio style accommodation. Comprising of separate kitchen and dining room with cooker, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, washing machine, fridge-freezer and dining table with seating for 3. The shower room has a double sized shower, towels are provided. The combined bed / sitting room has a feature fireplace and houses a double bed, small wardrobe, leather sofa, freeview tv/dvd and ipod docking station. There is a large selection of recent dvds available to watch. Patio doors lead out to your own pretty patio and private cottage garden with a chimnea, bbq and garden furniture. A picnic hamper and rug are also provided for your trips to either the beach or the wonderful surrounding countryside.

Goodwood House is within walking distance as is the Goodwood Hotel which offers a picturesque Pay and Play golf course plus a Health Club with swimming pool, gym, beauty spa, tennis courts and restaurants which are open to non-residents. Guest membership is available at a cost of £20 per person per week.

“A week in west Sussex”

We went to Goodwoof ....... what a fab place , near enough to walk, and our own little haven to enjoy a glass of bubbly in the garden after. The little cottage was well equipped and cosy.

“Lovely cottage”

Elm cottage is small but perfectly formed, with it being very well equipped for a weekend break. The Cottage is dog friendly with treats, dog towels and an enclosed garden area. Goodwood Hotel is a 20 min walk across a country land which was a lovely surprise. Goodwood farm shop is close by too. We hope to be back in the summer warmer months!
