Joint house rentals are only permitted for discreet family gatherings , we do not accept house parties, couples or hens and stags.

Please check the maximum occupancy for adults and children. We reserve the right to cancel the booking if the house occupancy conditions are not met.

2 magnificent semi detached, adjoining lakeside houses, ideal for family gatherings wishing to stay in 2 individual properties right next door to each other (2 adjoining semi properties BUT no internal access between 2 houses) Sleeps maximum of 14 adults and 4 kids in bunk beds (1 in each house).

Standard Nespresso coffee machine at 24 Clearwater (coffee capsules not provided). Each property has a log burner (logs are not provided).

24 and 25 Clearwater at Lower Mill Estate offers complimentary access to the on-site ArtSpa, a luxury spa with slate lined 20 metre indoor and outdoor heated pools (shut in winter), outdoor plunge eco pool, steam room, sauna and treatment rooms for a range of massages and spa beauty sessions (bookable at an additional cost).

Lower Mill Estate also has on site restaurant/shop, tennis courts,children's play areas, 450 acres of private nature reserve with lakeside walks and cycle routes. Wildlife includes over-wintering wildfowl, otters, owls, bats, deer and the first European beavers to be introduced into England.

“A Wonderful 70th Birthday Weekend”

I booked 2 adjoining properties (24 and 25 Clearwater) on the Lower Mill Estate to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday with her 3 children, their partners and their kids - 8 adults and 5 kids in total. The properties were large, well equipped and well maintained, with lovely views over the lakes. Access to the spa, with heated indoor and outdoor pools, was a blessing. Both adults and kids had a great time mucking about in the water. My only complaint is that on the first night there was an unpleasant drainage smell in one of the properties, and then a couple of people thought they could smell gas. Quite worrying, particularly as we had little children in our party. We made several attempts to phone on-site staff but it was difficult due to a poor/non existent mobile phone signal. However after a couple of hours the smells disappeared and we had no further trouble. The general consensus was that it was a beautiful location that was ideal for families. The houses were perfect for our requirements and everybody had a fabulous time.

How do damage deposits work?
