Villa Monte da Lua is a luxurious,spacious, modern house set in Sintra's Natural Park, surrounded by pine trees, only 5 min from Praia das Maçãs, 15 min from Sintra, Cascais and Estoril and 30 min from Lisbon.(AL- Local Lodging License 8584)
This fantastic villa elegantly furnished, offers comfortable accomodation for 8 people and well cared gardens, large swimming pool, 12x6 meters large terrace with garden furniture. The villa has 2 bedrooms in suite, 2 double bedrooms + 1 complete bathroom, a modern kithchen and a beautiful living with a view to the pool and garden.
Quite and fabulous villa, near the beach Praia das Maças. Situated between Sintra and Cascais (15 km), a good location to explore the area.
Car is recommended but within 5 min walk you will find the beach, fish and seafood restaurants,bars, shops, tennis club, surf shop, pharmacy, daily market and visit all the attractions around from sightseeing to castles, palaces, monuments, typical restaurants, famous beaches, casino, excellent golf courses and much more, all in the vicinity.

For golf players this Villa has the perfect location - in a range of 20 kms there are 6 fantastic Golf Courses (Oitavos, Quinta da Marinha, Estoril, Penha Longa, Beloura and Belas)
Activities and attractions
Beautiful area with several restaurants and bars. Cascais and Guincho is a 20 mins drive. Restaurants offer fabulous cuisine. Local market 5 mins drive on weekends with fresh bread, fruits and vegetables.
In Praia Grande, 2 kms away from the Villa, it is possible to see dinosaur footprint in the cliff.
Nice for those who want to walk through the cliffs and mountains; Cabo da Roca is 10 mins drive. A very good place to stay if you want to explore the area of Lisbon and the west coast.

“Luxury guaranteed”
Just returned from a stay for a family wedding. From arriving at the airport where the owner, Susana took the time to meet and lead us to the superb villa in Colares where we found lovely restaurants & bars in walking distance. The tram running from the village to Sintra is a must, taking about 45 mins where a Tuk Tuk tour also a must to take in the beautiful sights. Bruno our driver even drove us back to the end of our road stay, what service. We would have no hesitation in returning to Villa Monte da lua, a clean well looked after property was an excellent choice for a fabulous time had by all.

“Fantastic villa at a great price!”
We had a great stay at this villa. The facilities are great. It had absolutely everything we could need and is within walking distances to two lovely beaches, a short drive to Sintra and easy access to public transport to Lisbon. We couldn't find anything else for the price in the area that even came close! What makes this villa extra special is the owners. Susana was extremely helpful before the holiday with any questions we had, and João was on call for any questions we had during the week. We would certainly recommend staying here for anyone looking to stay near Lisbon and Sintra.
