" La QUADRA " at Casa Pinar is a pretty, detached, Andalusian cottage. It is cosy and traditional, nestling in the quiet hills above Colmenar with great views. It is part of a small farm in a tranquil setting, adjoining the " Montes de Málaga " national park. The casita is approached from the old Málaga road (A 7000) by 2 kilometers of good track, winding through the pine forests. La Casita a double bedoffers twin bed, with a sitting room, small kitchen and bathroom. Your very private terrace overlooks the mountain, peppered with almond, olive and fruit trees. There are plenty of outside seating areas with lots of flowers. The wood burning stove with free logs, offers heating for the occasional, chillier evenings in spring and autumn. La Quadra is the ideal base for chilling out or exploring the beautiful national park by bike, on foot or on horseback. A bar and restaurant lies just 2 km distant and serves a variety of typical Spanish country fare. The village shops of Colmenar will supply all other needs. Use of our swimming pool with magnificent views is encouraged !! This is the ideal spot for exploring the countryside or just a quiet break.

“Perfect Relaxation”
We received a warm welcome from Pieter and Dirk on our arrival at Casa Pinar. They showed us round their charming Casa, which was well appointed and had stunning views. We had a great time using Casa Pinar as our base to explore this region of Andalusia. We spent our days exploring then returning to this wonderful, peaceful and relaxing Casa, it made for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The pool has wonderful views, but the view to wake up to from the Casa was very welcoming every morning and the late evening sunsets were delightful too. Although Vento Pinar was closed the week we were there, the views from that bar were equally stunning, but we did find the bars and restaurants of Colmenar to very friendly and good quality. Thank you Pieter and Dirk for letting us stay in your charming Casa, we had a great time
