“Lovely, charming and warm cabin!” We had a great time staying at the cabin over Christmas 2012. Ideal for our family (two adults & two children). The cabin has everything you need to be comfortable, well equipped and warm. Nice and quiet place - no impact from I-70, easy to get to the shuttle bus to Vail! Short walk/or drive to supermarket if needed. The kids enjoyed the new snow and had fun rolling and tubing around the hills behind the cabin.

“Great Spring Break Ski Trip” Our family of four stayed in this condo for spring break in March 2014. The condo was nicely furnished, clean, comfortable and exactly as advertised. The master has a large attached bath that makes getting ready a breeze. The guest bedroom is large with two beds which were very comfortable for our children. The other 2-bath (one tub, one shower) is attached to this guest room which is handy when you're trying to get two kids ready at once. The condo is located right in the village just steps from the ice rink and close to several restaurants. It's just a short walk past the ice rink to the escalator that leads to the slopes and ski school. The unit came with a ski locker downstairs which was very convenient. The building also has 24 hour front desk which would come in handy if there were issues, but we had no issues. The concierge was also very helpful in helping us obtain reservations in advance of our trip, and a last minute reservation once we were there. We rented a car for the trip realizing that we might not need it much, and indeed we spent most of the trip in and around the village using the free shuttle the one time we needed it. However, if a car is in your plans the unit comes with underground heated parking. The owner took the time to send us several recommendations for dinner before our arrival. We spent one dinner at Grouse Mountain Grill. We were expecting typical mountain fare, but were very pleasantly surprised with the meal. It's not inexpensive by any means, but definitely worth the trip. The kids menu items were not just afterthoughts but high quality meals. If you're looking for a nice dinner, this is worth a look. We have used Vrbo several times and always are appreciative when the rental is as advertised. We also appreciated the time the owner spent sending us recommendations. Would definitely stay here again.

“Great little getaway.” My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Colorado Springs and it was great to have a nice, clean and comfortable place to spend our evenings following days of "adventure" in the mountains. From Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls and the train ride into the Royal Gorge to quiet evenings at "home" in this well appointed little Victorian cottage . . . wish we could have spent a couple more days. Carrie was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this as a home away from home. The kitchen was well equipped as well as washer & dryer for laundry (neither of which I used), although I had good intentions. LOL! Thanks, Carrie, for your wonderful hospitality. “Close to Lions Head” The property is very clean and close to Lions Head. The house accommodated our large group comfortably. The fire place was my favorite feature, with openings on 3 sides; plenty of wood to keep burning. It is not a true "ski in/out" but it is a short walk to the run that leads to the gondola at Lions Head. Great property overall! Items told to the property manager to improve: The oven/stove do not cook true to temp & the knives need sharpening. She said she would address those issues immediately. We chose to cook all of our meals at home, and the kitchen set up allowed us to do so easily. Having a grill on the deck was awesome! The internet went down while we were there and the property manager drove up the next day to reset it. Lovely property and we will stay here again.

“Great Vacation with the loveliest views” We stayed at Trout creek ranch and fromn the moment we got there was a very nice experience. We loved tha fact that there is a nice view from every room you are in. We used the different decks around the house, grilled in their outdoor grill and sat in one of their decks having wine while we enjoyed the warmth of an outdoor chimney. thanks for a great vacation.

“Charming Little Cabin” The cabin was nice, clean and nicely decorated with a dash of history. We enjoyed having a cup coffee on a bench behind the farm buildings where mountains view and curious alpacas were setting for a perfect relaxing time. The owner was extremely friendly helpful and accommodating. The access to RMNP was good as well.

“A fabulous time at the Benson adobe!” Chuck and ann are the sweetest hosts that anyone could imagine to have! The accomodations were great, the cleanliness was fantastic, and the adobe felt like our home on our stay. It is decorated beautiful! We even saw a deer right outside our door when we were there! There is a hummingbird feeder outside and we saw them feeding! They are located in a great spot for visiting all of the Colorado Springs attractions, such as Pike's Peak and Garden of the Gods! The stay was the highlight of our vacation and I would recommend this to anyone traveling in the Colorado Springs area!

“Perfect location, comfortable and relaxing cabin!” We had a wonderful stay at Hania’s Cabin. The location was awesome - close enough to town to walk to shops and restaurants, but still felt secluded due to the elk preserve across the street. The layout of the cabin was perfect for our needs and the personal touches from Hania upon our arrival made an excellent impression. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were very soft. The cabin is well appointed for any guests’ needs. Overall, this was one of the best vacation rentals in which we have stayed. We will definitely return!
