The apartment is in Colwall, Herefordshire. A small village in the Malvern Hills area of outstanding natural beauty. Nearest big town Worcester. Post Code WR13 6DR

Handy for day trips to Stratford upon Avon, Cheltenham, Cardiff, Hereford, Worcester Birmingham and the Cotswolds.

Miles of beautiful countryside and footpaths on your doorstep. The historic market towns of Malvern and Ledbury are close by. There are 16th century black and white buildings everywhere and many quaint old English pubs. Colwall has three pubs, a butcher, general store, Thai restaurant and very popular cafe. Malvern has an historic priory and a wonderful West End quality theatre and cinema. Eastnor Castle is 10 minutes away. Both Hereford and Worcester have medieval Cathedrals. Something for everyone!

The accommodation is called 'Bellevue' because your lounge opens onto your own decking which commands wonderful views over Herefordshire into Wales. (West facing for superb sunsets and dark star filled sky's.) The deck has a patio table and chairs, and your own gas BBQ.

Your self contained,recently renovated, accommodation comprises of a comfortable lounge area with flat screen TV, DVD and WiFi. A fully equipped kitchenette with table and seating for four, electric hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster (plates, cutlery, pots and pans) in fact we have tried to think of everything you may need, down to the garlic press!! There is a double bedroom with large wardrobe space, drawers and cabinets. There is also a separate shower room with wash-hand basin and toilet.

The property will sleep two comfortably in the double and has two quality bed settees in its lounge (like a studio) for another two if your additional guests are well acquainted or you have children to stay. All bedding and towels are provided and thanks to the recent addition of grandchildren a travel cot and high-chair are available on request.

The property is full central heated, is on mains electricity at no extra cost. You also have access to a washer and tumble drier, Free-view TV in both the lounge and bedroom and free WiFi.

You will have open access straight out onto paths through fields and woods for walks to suit all levels of ability. Maps and brochures for local attractions are provided. You overlook our paddock which currently is home to a horse, sheep, chickens, and assorted wildlife.

Parking is available for two vehicles. A vehicle really is essential as you will need to drive to local shops. The Village store is in Colwall, (5 minutes) and supermarkets are in Malvern or Ledbury. (20 minutes) Colwall has a main line railway station (5 minutes) direct into London Paddington, Birmingham New Street or Hereford and all points in-between and connecting. Malvern has a wonderful West End quality theater and cinema.

Our location is Ideal for walkers or those who just love the peace and quiet of the great out doors.

We are very dog friendly but please contact us to discuss terms.

Please respect the property by not smoking inside although you are welcome to smoke on the decking.

Getting around

Colwall has its own railway station on the Hereford/London line. Local bus services run from the end of the lane so you are well connected for day trips. Walking and cycling are recommended but it is quite hilly! Because of steps and inclines in our garden the property is not recommended for the less than able.

Interaction with guest

We are very approachable and willing to offer advice on the local area. On summer evenings we sit out on the patio and you are very welcome to join us for a glass or two.
