Description
In the central Como (200 m from the Cathedral), new apartment in a historic building on the third floor (no lift) has a large living room with sofas and a LED TV, large double bedroom with dressing corner, bedroom with two single beds, kitchen (dishwasher and oven), bathroom with washing machine and dryer. In the apartment there is air conditioning.
It is possible have on request cot, high chair and baby bathtub for children under 2 years.
It is also possible to rent for less than a week: at least 2 days.
The apartment is very bright with a beautiful view of the city of Como and though it is centrally located is also very quiet thanks to double glazing and the very thick stone walls.
It is enough to cross the street to find bars, restaurants and all the shops in the center. There are never any vehicles that may disturb since the entire historical center is barred to vehicular traffic.

“Wonderful Apartment”
We loved this apartment. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the tourist area and immediately opposite a wonderful cafe where we started every day with a coffee and a pastry (and ended by buying their fresh pasta and breads for dinner). It's a quick walk to the ferry as well as to the train stations for nice day trips. The apartment itself is immaculate, newly renovated throughout and all the rooms are large and airy. The view from the kitchen in particular is fantastic. The photos of the apartment don't do it justice. There were reviews talking about the lack of air conditioning. We stayed in April with 23c (75f) temperatures and certainly the temperature was completely comfortable throughout the apartment. We obviously can't comment about the height of summer though. There's no denying that there's 72 steps to the apartment but that never felt like a problem, even carrying a Pram up and down each day. We probably could have left it at the bottom or on the terrace area half way up if we'd wanted to. The only issue we had was with the wifi being intermittent. When we eventually flagged this up to Vladimiro he was quick to respond so I'm inclined to think this was just a one-off. Vladimiro was lovely, meeting us to show us around. They also made it really lovely for our toddler and infant, setting up a cute bed and cot for our little ones, as well as getting out the baby bath tub.
