The villa was even bigger than I thought it was from pictures.
Everyone had their own room, and was quite comfortable. The kitchen was large and accommodating. The pool area was beautiful and relaxing with a large patio, plenty of seating and the BBQ was a great addition.
My only complaints were that the cable was out on the TV (not a big deal, as we weren't there to watch TV anyway), we ran out of drinkable water on our first night there and had to buy our own, and the maid was a bit snoopy when organizing our belongings (she never stole anything, but she touched and rearranged all of our personal items, and seemed to hide some of our items in strange places. Maybe hoping we wouldn't find them?)
The location is in a quiet residential area, about a 30-45 minute walk from downtown; a bit farther than I would have liked, but it's a few blocks away from a large grocery store.
Overall this is a great rental property. It is considerably cheaper than most other rental options of the same size on the island. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a large private villa in Cozumel.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Casa Jen. The house was even larger than I thought and the outdoor/pool area was such a pleasant area to relax. I enjoyed being so close to town and able to walk to the store and restaurants. The unit is very well managed with someone next door to help with anything you need.
"Casa Jen was an excellent choice for our vacation."

The house was very nice. The kitchen was equiped with anything you could need and a full frigerator was provided for guests. There was adequate fresh water provided. The pool was well maintained. There was daily maid service to make the beds, replace towels, do the dishes and mop.
My one problem was that the mo pwater must have been dirty decause if you walked on the floor barefooted you would have to give them a good scrubbibng prior to climbing into bed.
The house is located one block from the main ocean from road and close to two shopping centers where you can buy just about anything you could possibly need.

I ventured to this location with some friends for a week away from the grind. It was an amazing place, we ventureed close by to out of the way restaurants to experience the true local culture. We toured on land and on sea experiencing the excellent fishing as well.
The property was simply put, like being at home. It had everything we wanted and more.

Casa Jen was an amazing holiday destination. The ammenities were great and it is well located just blocks from the ocean. The privacy in the yard and the pool hardly made it necessary to leave the house. It is conveniently located and the owners provided information and contacts for attractions and destinations. This is defenitely somewhere I would holiday again. It was a memorable experience.

There was a lot to see and do. Weather was great, food was good, accommodations super!! Action if you like it, or privacy if you want it. We liked alittle of both.
Actually, we stayed there in 2001, and it was very nice. I know improvements have been made since then. We'd like to return sometime soon and check it out.

This is a great place to stay. It was clean and had all the amenities that you would need and then some. The pool was also very nice. It had a lot of room for family so everyone had their own space. Highly recommended.

We were at a resturant in Cozumel and saw a flier offering Casa Jen as vacation rental. So we decided to drive around and see if we could find it. We did and just knocked on the door. The people renting the house knew the owners and offered to show the house to us. We thought the place was wonderful and comparing the rent with the price of the hotel it was a better bargin.
We decided to rent Casa Jen for our trip in 2000. One other couple and our two kids were there for two wonderful weeks. From the minute we arrived the rental reps were there to help with reservation for many of the attactions on the island and with suggestion for things to do. The Maid was so sweet, made us feel so special. and the house was so clean.
I loved the pool and it is bigger then it looks, I started each morning and ended each day in the pool. The court yard and garden's with bananas just added to the relaxation of our vacation.
Having a fully equiped kitchen was a money saver. We made breakfast and sometimes lunch instead of eating out every meal. This house is very close to shopping and the grocery store, and we often walked to the main square.
The large master suite with a door right to the pool, and a king size bed and private bath was wonderful. Some of the other amenities We enjoyed were the satellite TV, VCR. local phone, cd player and the central air. We were back in 2003 and had a great time. In the last 7 years We have rented other houses including Casa Don Rosa and the new Casa Don Rosa ll which was built in 2007 and thats were you will find us the last saturday in January for three weeks. 2011 will be our fifth stay at Don Rosa also owned by the family that owns Casa Jen.
