Additional Location Information

We are set on 70 acres of beautiful coastal bushland only a 250 metres stroll across to one of the many magnificent beaches in the area. It is perfect for surfing, fishing, playing in the surf, walking along the beach, walking round the headlands, sitting in the hammock and reading (or snoozing!).

It's a great spot t for the kids so bring their bikes! Also bring the marshmallows to toast over the open fire. At Christmas time it may be busy and you may have to share the beach with a few other families - but often you can have it pretty well all to yourself!

We have spent a lot of energy in replanting and regenerating the block to what coastal bush should be - so we have an amazing array of birdlife and native flora and fauna. You may have to be patient - a lot of the animals are very shy - but there are plenty of wallabies, possums, sugar gliders and the occasional koala and echidnas. Birds include the endangered glossy black cockatoos along with all sorts of wrens, finches, bowerbirds, parrot &, pigeons.

Crescent Head is 11km away - with most of the shops you might need (great butcher, legendary bakery, corner store, chemist, bottle shop etc) and a few places to eat. Further afield and you find Hat Head & South West Rocks; or head southward to Port Macquarie.
