This stunning, award winning, newly built to the highest quality, stone and slate cottage set in THE most beautiful garden has 3 bedrooms (sleeps 8) and 3 bathrooms. Located in the secure and peaceful walled garden of Grade II listed Putsborough Manor is only 400 meters from the beach, via a path across fields, there is also a private tennis court on site. Putsborough is a protected Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the coastal path is on the door. At Putsborough Manor we have two other luxurious cottages available (sleeping unto 8 people) more information, photos and offers available on our Putsborough Manor web site. Dogs are welcome (a small charge/restrictions apply please check). Parking for 3 cars.
Built to the highest specification with a quality fully fitted bespoke kitchen and bathrooms (one with jacuzzi bath) and having a spacious vaulted family living/kitchen/dining room with large patio doors onto the terraced gardens.
The spacious entrance hall and large family living,kitchen, diner is all on one level with lovely 3.5 m picture window looking out on the established long borders in the walled garden and having a large folding patio door on to a beautiful, sheltered, sunken patio with outdoor table and chairs. From the entrance hall there are two steps down to a second hall were there is a utility room with door to the garden, two of the bedrooms (one ensuite) and the family bathroom (with jacuzzi/spa bath) and a staircase leading to a landing and large upstairs attic style bedroom. Eco friendly air sourced underfloor heating throughout. Polished slate floors throughout.
This stunning property is complemented outside with patio areas, patio table and chairs, sunloungers, gas BBQ, outdoor shower, storage area for boards or bikes and private tennis court for the perfect family Devon beach holiday.
Putsborough is a beautifully unspoilt hamlet of listed buildings in an area of outstanding natural beauty surrounded by National Trust land with breathtaking views and numerous walks . The popular surfing meccas of Croyde and Saunton Sands are a few minutes drive away, there is a green lane to Croyde approx 3/4 mile. Woolacombe is also close by, either a short drive or a leisurely walk along the beach.
Locally facilities include excellent golf courses, horse riding, boat fishing hire, clay pidgeon shooting, Lundy Island ferry trips from Ilfracombe, adventure and children's parks nearby, and National Trust Properties to visit to name but a few! The beautiful and dramatic landscape of Exmoor is also close by. The coast line is rich in beautiful towns and villages to visit.

The cottage is located in the beautiful, secure walled garden, originally the kitchen garden of the Manor House. The garden is well established (approximately an acre) and is a pleasure to behold, there are many specimen plants and trees, an amazing apple arbour, a herb garden and lots of little paths meandering . On a sunny day you can enjoy a barbeque, relax in the garden and watch the sun go down towards the beach. The cottage has a sunken patio directly off the lounge with table and chairs, an outdoor shower (for after the beach or hosing the dog), an outdoor storage area for boards or bikes, a few steps lead to a sun terrace with sun loungers, gas bbq, and table, and a gateway to the rest of the walled garden.
