Description
Located in a quiet cul-de-sac, just 5 mins walk from the centre of Croyde, Green Rooms is a modern bungalow, with 5 large bedrooms (3 en-suite), open plan kitchen/living/dining area with folding doors opening onto a large deck. Separate large living room with log fire. Plus an enormous garden great for games and BBQs. There is plenty of parking.
Green Rooms is our family home for most of the year from which we run a very successful B&B alongside our 1 bed self catering apartment, over the summer months we like to travel and therefore let our home to families for their summer holidays.
The details: We have 5 bedrooms, Master Bedroom with a kingsize bed and en suite shower room, this room has a juliet balcony overlooking the garden, towards Baggy Point with sea glimpses beyond the sand dunes. The enormous roof windows make for a light and airy room, great for star gazing at night. There are no curtains in this room. The en suite is accessed through an archway (no door) from the entrance corridor into the room. Room 1 is another large room in the roof with lovely views as above - it has a double bed and a single bed, plus an en suite shower room. Room 2 is another en suite double with a lovely large window looking over the garden. Room 3 is a smaller double bedroom. Room 4 is a large twin room. Next door to these rooms is the large family bathroom with a shower over the bath. There is a large kitchen/dining/family room with bi-fold doors onto a spacious deck. The kitchen is well equipped with range cooker, American style fridge freezer with chilled water and ice dispenser, dishwasher, microwave and plenty of cookware and utensils. There is a dining table and large corner sofa. Also, a swivel mounted TV so you can watch from either the kitchen or the living area. There is another large living room with 2 leather triple sofas, log fire, 40" TV with freesat. There is also a separate utility room with washing machine and dryer. Outside the garden is enormous with a large deck, BBQ and outdoor seating. The garden has plenty of space for games. There is also a large herb garden with all sorts of herbs, plus 8 apple trees and lots of blackberries - please help yourself if anything is ripe while you are staying. At the front of the house there is plenty of parking for 4 or more vehicles. To the rear of the garage there is a wetsuit drying area with hose with shower connection. Here there is also a storage area for surfboards, bikes etc.

“Perfect location”
The house is very central to the village centre for pubs, eating out and other shops. The beach is in walkable distance but we found with all the surf boards etc it was easier to load one car and unload in the lay-by just before the beach entrance and then return the car. The house had everything a party of 11 required and overall was very spacious.

“Summer 18 - family holiday”
We had a wonderful stay at Greenrooms, Croyde. Excellent accommodation for 10, which were 3 families. Also had family stay at the Boardroom too. Lovely rooms with everything you need to have a home from home holiday. Nice and clean with plenty of room for all the children and adults to spread out. Brilliant location to both beach and village centre. We have been visiting Croyde for many, many years and we are so pleased we have found Greenrooms now. Would absolutely use again when visiting with a large number again.

“Beautiful home with great facilities, close to beach.”
We visited this property a group of 5 couples and it was pretty much perfect. The location was brilliant, at the end of a small private road of a few houses and 10 minutes walk to the beach past field with sheep in! Tranquil yet convenient with local shops a short walk the other way, including a pub, pasties, ice cream and pizza place. What more do you need. The property itself was great. More than enough room for the 10 of us with lovely rooms. The two upstairs were incredible and the master with the velux windows and velux balcony bit overlooking the westerly facing garden was awesome. The kitchen was large with all the amenities you could need and a great electric range oven and multi ringed gas hob was adequate for a roast for 10! The bifold doors from the kitchen diner lounge area to the decking was so great we had little reason to use the separate large relaxing main lounge We watched the sunset from the deck every night! Lynn and Phil were both easily contacted leading up to and during the booking. Even had a bottle in the fridge for us when we arrived. Had a great week and I’ll deifnitely book again when we need a group holiday away. Fully deserved 5 stars!

“Beautiful pet-friendly large family home”
Croyde Bay is a beautiful place with great pubs such as The Thatch, Billy Budds and The Manor House which all allow pets in and serve great food. The sea at Croyde Bay is great for surfing or body boarding, our kids love it! This is our second stay in The Green Rooms, Croyde and we would love to visit again as it is the perfect base to travel to different locations. Lynton & Lynmouth and also Clovelly are particular favourites of ours. Although pets are not allowed on Croyde Bay there is a gorgeous coastal walk to Putsborough Beach. From Putsborough beach It is a great walk with the dog to Woolacombe which is also a lovely place to visit.

“Top location and accommodation,easy access to everything crowded has to offer”
Comfortable versatile accommodation for two families and two little dogs,very central,lovely skies, plenty of parking.Very well appointed, even a Prosecco in the fridge by way of a welcome.
