Description

Dairy Cottage is a cute small stone holiday cottage located in the picture perfect village of Delph in the Saddleworth hills on the edge of the Peak District National Park.

The cottage has been totally renovated to a very high standard. Romantic bedroom with antique French double bed & gorgeous view of the hills to wake up to, designer shower room with walk in shower, (please note: the bathroom does form part of the bedroom but is separated by a wall, no door but there is also a modesty curtain if required for extra privacy-see bedroom photos). Fitted kitchen/living area with full oven, grill, 2 ring hob, microwave, integrated fridge, dualit toaster & kettle, nespresso coffee machine & all utensils etc. - living area has fireplace (electric logs) metal action sofa bed sleeps 2 (ideally children as it’s a small double) Free view TV, Free wifi, great mobile phone signal, dogs welcome (£20 fee), lovely outside patio with garden furniture- not overlooked with lovely rural view of the hills. Continental B&B can be provided at extra cost.

All quality bed linen, fluffy towels & heating included

Saddleworth is a series of villages (Delph being one) on the edge of the Peak District National Park - the scenery is green, hilly, sometimes dramatic in places, reservoirs, great country pubs, individual shops & cafes.

Parking is free on a public road to the rear of the cottage. There is a path to the cottage which is uphill & unsuitable for wheelchairs or people with mobility issues.

There is a bus service through the village which connects you with all the surrounding villages and towns. The train station at Greenfield is a 5 minute drive or 25minute walk.

I am only 10 minutes away so I am on hand for any questions or problems. Access is by key code to a key safe or I can meet you at the cottage.

“A delightful escape in Delph”

The cottage was clean, cosy and in close proximity to a wide selection of walks. Booking and communication with the owner was clear and Is be happy to stay there again. Thank you Jane.

How do damage deposits work?

If Jane (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
