Welcome to a touch of desert relaxation only a short drive from L.A. If you're looking to get away for a day , a weekend ,a week or a month...alone or with friends ...this may just be the place for you. The Spacienda is a great place to re-connect with long time friends, have a family outing , a girl get away, all male pow wow,a birthday,an anniversary...or a " just because I need to de - stress from it all " weekend. There are outdoor cabanas with massage tables ...call one of the recommended therapists and book a well deserved massage . Relax in the outdoor hot spa or visit one of the nearby mineral water spas to soak in the natural healing waters known in this particular area of the Miracle Hill section of Desert Hot Springs. These waters have been voted one of the world's best due to the mineral content. Hot mineral water is known to treat a variety of ailments...arthritis, back pain, asthma, bronchitis, depression,... all due to the curative minerals in the water that is absorbed through the skin while soaking ! After soaking have a relaxing massage in the comfort of your room .Watch a movie on the 70 foot TV screen , BBQ under the stars, sit around the fire pit roasting marshmallows and telling stories...Show off your bartending skills by serving up cocktails at the outside bar... put a little music on and create an outdoor disco or mellow jazz to set the mood... There are so many options to create an enjoyable stay at The Spacienda. Every amenity is at your fingertips. If you have a special request , just ask. Pampering you is the number one priority. Palm Springs is a short , easy drive ...about 10 minutes away and offers a wide variety of attractions. Shopping is great on El Paseo Drive in Palm Desert or if you prefer outlet shopping The Desert Hills Premium Outlets in Cabazon is also a short drive away , but plan to stay the whole day as they have 100's of shops to see ! Please visit our many thrift and consignment shops that are all the rage , the best bargains and unique items can be found in these hidden gems...Angelview Thrift is a great organization that gives back to the children with challenges...these are my favorite thrift shops in the desert.

Try your luck at one of the many local casinos, take a ride on the Palm Springs tramway . visit the wildlife zoo,...explore the nightlife, great restaurants, Village Fest street fair ( Thursday nights ) , College of the desert outdoor market, Cathedral City outdoor market ( both on Sundays ) Palm Springs outdoor marketplace across from the downtown casino on Saturdays, Tennis or a round of golf at one of the many courses that make the desert a true playground ...and remember to fit in a hike in Joshua Tree !!! Believe me there are a lot of suggestions to make your stay an enjoyable one...Looking forward to your stay in the desert !
