Description
Overlooking arguably the best swimming and surfing bay in Sri Lanka, Cove House can accommodate up to six guests.
The entry to Cove House is across a lawn with a pathway of ancient stones. You enter the house through an colonnaded veranda complete with terrazzo flooring. This leads you into the spacious lounge area with soaring ceilings.
Cove has three air-conditioned double bedrooms and comes fully staffed, including a chef to prepare mouth-watering meals from an a la carte menu
Cove House has been designed with nods to both traditional Sri Lankan and Colonial architectural styles. Living is mainly done on the spacious verandas or you can choose to relax in the large sitting room surrounded by original art and antique furniture and decorations.
Our beautiful bedrooms are all air-conditioned ensuites and two have inside/outside showers. The four-poster beds have luxurious deep mattresses and are hung with mosquito nets.
The pool area overlooks the picturesque horseshoe bay at Hiriketiya - safe for swimming and excellent for surfing. The ocean can be reached in seconds by foot from the front gate.
There is limited secure parking available on the property, for a small-medium sized car, please let us know in advance if you wish to reserve it. The beach and associated bars and restaurants of Hiriketiya Bay are reachable on foot within minutes. For local trips the staff will be happy to arrange tuk-tuks or taxis for you.
The rental does not include meals however it does include a private chef who is available to prepare delicious meals from an a la carte menu. Meals are charged at cost +30% which gives you access to restaurant quality dishes, made to order, for a fraction of the price of eating out.
