“Fantastic large cottage”

Reviewed 2 Jul 2018

Brilliant place to stay in Norfolk, in the quiet village of Brockdish. The gardens are great, and if you go a bit further down and follow the paving track, you come to a running river with many trees a long the way, with plenty comfortable cushioned chairs to sit back and watch the day go by!!. It has a great village pub, a 90 second walk away. The owners Jackie & John were very friendly and welcomeing. We basically needed a base for road cycling through out the week, with a good lockable garage which we got, out on our bikes the scenery was amazing, great experience, and we will be back!!.

Response from the owner Thank you so much for leaving a review, so pleased you enjoyed your stay in Norfolk. As you mention Pump cottage is 400years old, and grade 2 listed, restricting any alterations and protecting its original features. however there is overhead lighting, wall lights and sidelights if required. You may of preferred our other cottage the hayloft with high ceilings, patio doors where light pours in. With our kind regards John and Jackie
