Description
Old Orchard is a home away from home for a couple looking for a romantic getaway or a family. It sleeps four. Old Orchard has an upside down design with both bedrooms and two bathrooms on the ground floor and the living and dining areas upstairs.
There is a wc upstairs. Like the other cottages it retains much of the character of its first construction with many original beams, high ceilings and wood flooring. All of the modern conveniences have been added to make this the ideal place to relax in the serenity of the Devon countryside.

“Wonderful cottage and warm welcome”
Wonderful location for a week's spring break. Cottage had everything needed for family of 4 (2 children aged 8 and 12) plus bonus of games barn and small swimming pool - good for a dip and a play rather than a serious swim. Easy to book and responsive owners as well as very helpful and friendly welcome. Couldn't have wanted for anything more.

“Very nice”
Very enjoyable stay, Great swimming pool , but really would need a car next time, as taxis were very expensive.

“Cosy cottages surrounded by lush countryside”
I booked two of Barbara's cottages (Little Cleave and Old Orchard) for me and my friends to stay in this summer. The booking process was smooth and Barbara always got back to me about any questions really quickly. The cottages themselves are very clean and comfortable with their own yards to enjoy your morning tea in the sunshine. They both had large lounges with comfy sofas and dining tables, and well equipped kitchens so we were able to cook hearty meals to enjoy together. The location is so quiet - no main roads nearby so the only sound you'll hear is birdsong. There was a games room, and also a pool but we didn't get a chance to use it as we only stayed a couple of nights. Lovely area but I'd say you need a car to make the most of it.
