Dappledown - comfortable, tranquil, thoroughly enjoyable

Left on Jul 07, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

We stayed in Dappledown studio in June for one week, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is first class, spotlessly clean, well equipped and ideal for a couple wanting to visit the area. It is set in a small quiet village and overlooks fields with two magnificent oak trees (although one of them is bare of leaves). The owners are very friendly/helpful, and the welcome goodies …

Great little hideaway

Left on Mar 09, 2010 for a stay in December 2009

Howle Hideaway is a real gem hidden in the depth's of the Herefordshire countryside.

The house has been beautifully decorated throughout to a very high standard and was a real 'cosy' place to stay as a couple. The property had a very large open plan lounge and kitchen with the bedroom on the first floor (via a quite tight spiral staircase).

The owners of the property were very helpful and were…

A Hidden Gem

Left on Oct 02, 2014 for a stay in September 2014

We were looking for somewhere to stay whilst visiting University Open days with our son and this seemed ideal for our requirements. Upon arrival at the Caravan site we were immediately made to feel welcome by lovely neighbours. Our caravan was literally a 'home from home'. Everything had been thought of, washing up liquid, toilet roll, conditments, even DVD's and toys for very young children…

Exceeded our expectations, excellent find, very welcoming!

Left on Feb 26, 2012 for a stay in February 2012

This cottage exceeded our expectations, great location, reasonably priced and very modern.

We were treated to a surprise welcome pack, which made our stay extra special - which included local cider, eggs, bread and butter.

The owner kept us well informed from start to finish, from directions to local services available in the village!

We wanted a base to explore the forest of dean, including…

A most pleasant surprise when we arrived on Friday afternoon for our long weekend with all our family - how large the property is and how well equipped !.
