A luxurious holiday cottage set within acres of orange groves, nestled between the hills of El Hatcho & El Chorro/Valle de Abdalajis. This makes the Casita ideal location for rock climbers who want to enjoy spectacular climbing but want to escape the rocks to relax in the evening sun. Or for those who need a relaxing break away or a perfect base to explore the beautiful sights of Andalucia. The Casita offers panoramic views of the Guadalhorce Valley and the Ardales National Park and beyond.
Your own private pool is available for use with stunning views of the orange grove and breath taking views further afield. The pool is seasonal, please check for dates. Please note that our pool is not guarded so guests to use it at their own risk and with care
The bedrooms are fitted with air-conditioning and all rooms have got heating for the chilly winter days.
Just 40 minutes drive from Malaga airport. We are only minutes away from the hill-town of Alora which offers excellent road and rail connections to all major cities including Malaga, Cordoba, Ronda, Marbella and Nerja.
For those who love the outdoors the choice of activities are endless. El Chorro Gorge / Valle de Abdalajis are world famous rock climbing locations and also provide excellent opportunities for those in love of nature. it is the nesting location of the Tawny Vulture and a few species of rare vegetation. The famous Caminito del Rey it's only 10 minutes away from us!
There are local companies that offer guided walking, mountain biking, cycling and quad biking tours covering all abilities. there is also paragliding, horse or donkey trekking are also being offered within minutes of the Casita.
For beach lovers the Costa del Sol beaches are 40 minutes drive. Alternatively the turquoise lakes of Ardales National Park otherwise know as 'The Spanish Lake District' are 15 minutes away. The lakes provide excellent Swimming, Canoeing, Sailing and Fishing activities.
We provide bedding and towels for the cottage, but please remember to bring your own pool and beach towels with you.
