Porto Heli is a beautiful old fishing village with a natural harbour in the Peloponnese, Argolida, the southern region of mainland Greece. Porto Heli is about 190km from Athens by road or 55 Nautical miles from the Port of Pireaus. It can be reached by car, bus and high speed ferry from Piraeus Port (2,5 hours). The traditional island of Spetses with its night life is opposite and is easily accessible by boat (10 minutes) and taxi speed boats.

In the summer, day boat cruises are organised to the island of Hydra and the byzantine Rock of Monemvasia. The one hour away open Theater of Epidaurus, known for its unique acoustics, hosts the yearly Greek Festival of greek ancient tragedy and comedy. The water ski school in the nearby Ververonda 'Lake' is famous for its facilities and attracts ski enthousiasts including national w/s teams.

There are many tavernas in Porto Heli, Ermioni and Koilada spesializing in sea food and fresh fish. While in the area it is worthwhile to visit the noble old town of Nauplion and the archaeological site of Mycenae, the credle of civilization.
