STAY IN THIS PROPER LOG CABIN. HAND CRAFTED FROM 180MM SPRUCE LOGS (not machined glue laminated wood, not a timber lodge on wheels, but a real proper log cabin). FOXGLOVE LODGE HAS 2 BEDROOMS AND SLEEPS UPTO 5 PEOPLE.CONVENIENTLY LOCATED, WELL BACK OFF THE OFFENHAM ROAD, NEAR EVESHAM.THE CABIN IS DOUBLE GLAZED, HAS GAS CENTRAL HEATING & AMPLE PARKING (including space for boat if required.) THE CABIN HAS 2 DOUBLE BEDROOMS (one has a double bed whilst the other has full sized pine bunks & a pine single bed). BED LINEN AND TOWELS ARE PROVIDED.TRAVEL COT & HIGH CHAIR AVAILABLE. FREE WiFi. AVONVALE HOLIDAY LODGES ARE HALFWAY BETWEEN OFFENHAM AND EVESHAM (both are near enough to walk to). EVESHAM IS A MARKET TOWN (market on Saturdays). IT IS SITUATED ON THE RIVER AVON, HAS A LEISURE CENTRE (including a swimming pool and climbing wall). A LARGE RIVERSIDE PARK (Abbey Park) WITH A CHILDRENS PLAY AREA, SKATE BOARD PARK AND A WATER PARK (open during the summer - free to use). BOAT TRIPS AND BOAT HIRE ARE AVAILABLE ON THE RIVER.

“Dirty, dirty, dirty”

Only complaint... Kitchen and bathroom very dirty. We had to clean the kettle, fridge, and the front of cabinets before we could use. The shower has loads of mould...

Response from the owner Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I met and welcomed you on arrival. I also made you aware that we live on site, in the lodge next door but one, to the one you where stayed in and we were available if you had any problems. I said good morning to you every morning when you were walking your dogs but you never raised any complaint or issues during your stay. As a result I am surprised at your comments. The kitchen cupboard doors are white and show every mark therefore they are cleaned and wiped over routinely, as is the fridge/freezer. There was some black marks on the silicone around the bath and the tiles during your stay, but this has now been replaced. Unfortunately it takes 24 hours for the new silicone to set and it has been a very busy season due to the long hot summer. Unfortunately the first opportunity we had to do this was the day after you left. We are sorry that you didn't have better weather for your stay and hope you had a safe journey home.

Log cabin was very comfortable, extremely well equipped and in a great location to explore the surrounding areas; Cotswolds, Warwickshire etc. Hassle free booking and very friendly management on site.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage is well equipped and with character. Very quiet, comfy beds, gopd water preasure, perfect for having a good rest after a bisy day visiting the Costwolds.
