Villa Fantasia is perched on a hillside above the village of Vassilikades,a perfect retreat for a family or group holiday, just a 15 minute drive from Fiskardo. The views are spectacular as are the sunsets that can be enjoyed from the terrace area. A short walk downhill will bring you to Vassilikades itself where you will find a minmarket, couple of tavernas and a pharmacy. The closest beach is 10 minutes by car and picturesque Assos on its own peninsular is just a 15 minute drive away. The Villa is air conditioned throughout and the decor and design is cool and spacious with comfortable furnishings. On the ground floor is an open plan living area with a fully fitted modern kitchen, dining area with table and chairs and a lounge with TV and DVD player. Also on this level there is a twin bedroom with separate bathroom and a utility room with a washing machine and Iron. Doors lead from the living area out onto a large shades balcony area and then on down to the pool terrace.Upstairs are a further 3 bedrooms, 1 double with ensuite bathroom and 2 twin, 1 with ensuite bathroom the other with a separate bathroom. Doors from the bedrooms lead out onto a large shared balcony with stunning views down to the sea. The large garden/terrace area is mainly tiled with flower beds and a bbq, with the private swimming pool being the centre piece. There are also plenty of areas perfect for enjoying an evening BBQ whilst watching the stunning sunset.If you can't go a few days without being connected to the internet, you'll be pleased to here that Villa Fantasia also provides Wi-Fi for your use.Exploring in the area is easy with plenty of beaches to visit, all of them are pebble with crystal clear waters, some have tavernas close by, others almost deserted, although just that little bit harder to find, but well worth the extra effort. The famous Myrtos Beach is just a 20 minute drive.If you are interested in history then this is the perfect base with the Byzantian Castle of Assos and the recently discovered Roman remains in nearby Fiskardo. Together will many old ruins, a result of the 1953 Earthquake.A welcome pack with all the essentials for the first day is waiting for you as a gift from us.

The totally private freshwater swimming pool faces west. De Pool Size: 8m x 4,5m - depth : 1m - 1,6m. Around the pool are sun loungers and sun umbrellas.The main balcony, in front of the living/dining room, overlooks the pool making it an ideal place for 'alfresco' meals while watching younger ones in the pool.To the side of the pool is a brick built BBQ to make full use of summer living.

“An amazing place!”
Villa Fantasia is tucked away in the small village of Vassilikades between Assos and Fiskardo. It is quite simply breath-taking both in location and facilities. Couldn't ask for more. The views from the rear of the villa are stunning, the atmosphere is peaceful, the location is quiet but within reach of two of the most beautiful towns on Kefalonia. That said you will need a car! But that is a small price for the beauty of this place. A fabulous stay and a villa that I will return to and recommend without hesitation. Brilliant, restful, stunning.

“Fabulous house, with stoning views over the sea. Absolute top”
We had a two weeks family holiday with our adult children and their partners. Arriving at the Villa Fantasia is a breathtaking experience. The house is even more beautiful than pictures on the web show, but the views over the beautiful private swimming pool into the sea and on the clouds is a miracle. The reception at the house by the owners mother was overwhelming, the lunch with nicely homemade Greek aubergine superb. The house has got beautiful and spacious bedrooms with for each one a nice and clean bathroom. Within the kitchen everything you need is there, a great place to cook with such a group. Also the terrace BBQ is very functional. Cleaning every 3 or 4 days. If there was something to comment, than only some critics on the quality of the WIFI connection. But they are working on it, so will be better in near future. I would really recommend this house, it is trustworthy to book and you will certainly enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Kephalonia. The Island has a great variety of nature: Relatively high mountains, green trees, very rocky and almost Alpine rocky areas. And great and many nice beaches. Visit some of them by renting your own small speed boat in Fiskardo, you'll get at places not reachable by car or by foot.

“Fantastic views”
Fantastic views. Wonderful location. walking distance to a few tavernas ( take a torch to find your way back to the villa in the evenings) and a 15 minute drive to Fiskardo.
