“Week long stay at The Dairy” The cottage made a perfect base for visiting the local area. The surroundings were idyllic, and just perfect for a tractor-mad two year old! The cottage was well-appointed and comfortable. Every need had been considered - the shared utility room was stocked for every eventuality. The cottage was well-supplied with children's games too. I would thoroughly recommend this cottage - we spent a wonderful week in it!

“A Real Gem” I found this cottage by accident after a no response from another owner. It turned out that this was most certainly a massive plus as The Roost is an absolute gem. Location was perfect with probably the most friendly and helpful owners I have met in over 30 years of renting self catering accomodation. The cottage itself was unbelievably comfortable and superbly equipped. I have already recommended The Roost to family and friends and would without hesitation advise anyone of it's merits.

“Highly recommended” No 4 Lysander Court has been let to tourists and Theatre patrons for a long time I Stayed in this lovely house for the first some 15 years ago . This property has been recently renovated and has retain its charm and comfort , its location in the very centre of Stratford in a very quite court yard with ample car park facilities makes is possibly the best holiday location in and around Stratford on avon. The Housekeeping standards are first class and the attention to details way above expectations I found the Internet booking system easy to use and very informative.

Fair Haven Cottage in heart of Stratford town
Efficient two bedroom flat near the heart of town and train station

This tidy flat is located about 10 minutes from the train station and within one block of the charming downtown center. There were some nice biscuits and chocolates welcoming us to our temporary home. The entire flat (two storeys) has been remodeled with new wall decorations and cabinetry and probably loads more. It seemed warm and inviting. The front room was never used during our four night stay - we're a bit private and felt odd having the curtains open for all to watch us as they walked by on the street and it felt too dark with them closed. We mostly used the back kitchen/sitting room when we were home in the evenings. This area of the home was utterly lovely. Bright light - doors opening to the back garden. Such a welcome respite after a long day touring the countryside. The kitchen was well organized. We didn't use the stove top or oven but we used the microwave, toaster and mini-fridge. Beware that the stairs to the bedrooms and shared jack and jill bathroom upstairs are steep and small. I am in my forties and I still took them slowly and cautiously. There is very little room in the bathroom for your supplies - not a negative per se just an observation. There was a heat wave coming and we were grateful for the portable fans to use in the bedrooms. The front bedroom (one double sized bed) window faces the street and is an older style window which leaks in the noise easily. Having the fan on at night helped buffer that noise. The bedroom facing the backyard (two single beds) had a window that opened for fresh air and garden sounds. Both bedrooms were styled nicely and comfortably. The bedrooms were simple and efficient. Comfortable beds but felt a little hot with the warm weather. I would definitely recommend this flat for rental. We were two adults and one teenager.see more
Ground floor apartment, close to town centre, reserved parking space
Our review of our stay at Globe House

We were pleasantly surprised on arrival. The accommodation is well equipped and very clean. A comfortable home from home. The location was a plus with easy access to the town and local attractions. The only negative for us was the mattress which we found too hard for us. (This is purely down to personal taste and may not be a negative for others) overall we enjoyed our stay at Globe House and Stratford Upon Avon.see more

THE ROOST, family friendly, character holiday cottage, with a garden in
A very clean and well appointed apartment

Enjoyable stay and very easy to get a bus from Waitrose Store into Stratford Centre parking own car in the Special park and ride Car park at Waitrose £1 all day (Bus Free). Saves all hassle of parking and traffic in Stratford. Much to see and do in Stratford - book seats in Theatre at start of holiday and get reasonable price seats from £15 in best positions. Get tickets from a Centre Tour Bus - very much cheaper to see all Shakespeare houses etc and get your to door as its a hop on hop off service £22.50 inclusive. Do tour of backstage at RSC theatre. Warwick Castle very good too (all day day as a lot to do see and participate in. The only bad aspect of cottage was only one toilet in cottage - easily could be corrected by building a small toilet off lounge (or partition off part of the very large lounge) Great stay and lovely friendly owners well run place.see more
PORTER'S LODGE, over first and second floor of a medieval gatehouse
Porter's Lodge

Exceeded my expectations. I booked online from a review. I was a little scared. We came from Canada and I had dealt with the whole process on line. From the pictures and reviews I made a leap of faith. It was quirky and warm and welcoming. We were provided with a bit of history from Father Phillip, the caretaker of keys. It was convenient to the areas that we were interested in. A bit of drive to find an evening meal, about 10 minutes away. The fish and chip take out just down the street was very tasty. It was fully equipped with everything we needed and the appliances were easy to use. Very enjoyable.see more

Stratford

Thoroughly enjoyed our week! The flat is beautiful, very well appointed, everything you could want is provided to the highest standard, and considering it's just a few minutes walk from the Canal Basin, it was very quiet. Close to all the amenities, we will definitely be going again! Good base for exploring all the area has to offer!see more
