Great 2 bed 1st floor Apartment -Parking, clean and warm, balcony, quiet, space enough for a small family. All mod cons, free WiFi, TV, books & games. 20 mins from Harry Potter World, 15 mins Luton airport, 30 min drive to London. Short walk to pretty village. Friendly host!

The apartment is the whole first floor of a detached house and has a private access and provides guests with a stylish living room with a dining area to accommodate four, along with books and games, Freeview television and free WiFi. Overlooking gardens and open countryside is a fully equipped separate kitchen, which has full oven and grill, microwave and fridge freezer. The large contemporary master bedroom has a very comfortable double bed, lots of wardrobe space as well as ensuite facilities with a double shower. The full size glass door opens from the bedroom onto a good sized balcony which has far reaching views across open countryside; a table and chairs where guests can sit and relax on those warm weather days. There is also a further bedroom with single bed and an additional bathroom with full size bath and shower over. Parking space for one vehicle is provided.

Things to do Ashleys is an open door to the local countryside with fantastic walks, riding stables, Hertfordshire County Show Ground, local pubs and a wealth of historic and interesting places to visit nearby. The Roman museum in St Albans, Shaw’s Corner, Luton Hoo, Hatfield House, Whipsnade Zoo and Woburn Safari Park & Harry Potter World are all within easy reach. Larger towns of Harpenden, St Albans and Hemel Hempstead with all their pubs, restaurants and shops are close by too and the large Shopping Malls of Watford, Luton, Milton Keynes and Brent Cross are all within easy reach.

Interaction with guest

There is plenty to do and see nearby and if appropriate, we can advise and recommend anything from local events through to best shopping venues, bars, pubs and restaurants depending on your plans. So, if you like the countryside, you're a Potter fan, you want a place with easy access to London, you're visiting the beautiful local area or need to catch an early flight, drop me a note and I will do my best to be a great host! “Very comfortable stay despite the weather”

We probably chose the worst week to stay as there was heavy snow in Flamstead. However the apartment was warm and comfortable. It is within easy reach of Harpenden and St Albanns and from there it is only 30 minutes on the train to central London. Would certainly stay again.

“Perfect home from home”

we booked the apartment to come up and visit with our children , it was perfect in every way, everything we needed was there for us and it was lovely and warm and cosy. It snowed heavily on our first morning and before we knew it David was out with his son clearing the snow from our car and from around it, what a lovely thing to do. On Monday we were waiting for our daughter to come over with supplies when Eve rang us to check we were ok and had everything we needed, she was so very kind and even offered us food etc if we needed. the cleanliness of the apartment was excellent, and off the master bedroom is a dear little balcony where you can sit in the summer and appreciate the landscape. well presented and most comfortable. Many thanks David and Eve we will be back next year without a doubt.
