Description
Situated in the heart of the Royal Forest of Dean an area of outstanding natural beauty, it is the perfect all year round, all weather holiday destination. Set in four acre grounds with surrounding forests, the cottage is suitable for the disabled and provides the perfect location for visitors with pets.
For adventure seekers we have mountain biking, zip wires, kayaking and much more. There is an abundance of cycling tracks for families of all ages and abilities. If you're after something a bit more relaxing why not try one of the many walking routes, enjoying the views, visit local castles, museums and cathedrals, or visit a quaint local pub for a gastro delight!
Cider Press is a beautiful cottage with all the home comforts that you could want on a relaxing break. With a downstairs double bedroom and wet room that allows for easy access and a further two bedrooms upstairs with family bathroom (2 single beds and a double bedroom) their is plenty of space for everyone. The fenced garden has a large hand built BBQ for those sunny days complete with a unique stone cider press table with wooden benches and sun umbrella.

“Christmas break”
Beautiful cottage everything and more included everytime you looked found something else. Usb plugs sippy cups and baby gate and childrens cutlery. Dogs made very welcome large enclosed area for them and dishes and towels and rolls of poo bags. Cottage decorated in and out for christmas and very disabled friendly 2 batbrooms including wet room and double bedroom downstairs and low door handles. Owners couldn'tgetandand do enough for you. And we all loved the friendly horses gus and turvey.

“Second visit. We love it!”
Beautiful cosy cottage with the forest on your doorstep. Sue is a wonderful host and on hand if you need her. If looking for accommodation with a decent size wet room then this has one.

“Amazingly Perfect - Great attention to the little things”
Beautiful location on the edge of the Forest of Dean. Shops and some sites just a 10 minute drive away. The owner Sue was a absolute star, nothing was to much trouble, it was like a home away from home. We were greeted on arrival and fresh flowers left in the cottage, the only things required to take with us was food. Comfortable beds, sky lights in the bedrooms upstairs, bedroom downstairs with shower fully accessible by older member of our party. tables.chairs and bbq facilities to the front of the property. As the cottage is set back from the road it was so peaceful and looking out in the morning to see two horses in the field was an absolute dream. Thank you for having us and we will definitely be coming back to stay. Book now you will not be disappointed

“Lovely Cottage”
We stayed here over the bank holiday weekend and a great time was had by all. The cottage is clean and very well equipped in a beautiful location ideal for exploring Forest of Dean. Our girls (age 12 and 10) and our dog enjoyed exploring the forest. There were also two horses on site which the girls loved to stroke each morning. Great communicatin from the owner Sue who greated us upon arrival. Would definitely recommend and hope to return in the future.
