Description
A truly romantic property set within a 400 year old village house. The property is accessed via a large communal entrada with its own private entrance leading into the cosy double bedroom with shower room. From here you find a bright, characterful living room/kitchen/diner which in turn opens onto a beautiful patio garden overlooking an orange grove. In the entrada guests can make use of the library. The bedroom is nice and cool in summer and warm in winter and has the unusual feature of an original trough. The kitchen is equipped with oven, 4 ring gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, flat screen TV and DVD player and 2 seater sofa, writing desk, dining table & 2 chairs.WIFI is available. There is oil fired central heating for the colder months and air-con for the hotter months. Outside there is a table and 2 chairs and 2 relaxing chairs plus a BBQ. All bedding, towels and cutlery/plates etc. are provided.

Response from the owner It is disappointing to hear that the accommodation did not live up to your expectations. We have had over 60 reviews of this property from another well-known provider and all are almost exclusively 5 star reviews. I agree, there can be noise from guests walking around in the apartment above but this can alleviated somewhat by putting down rugs and even asking them to remove shoes. Other noise from neighbouring properties is more difficult to police and at the end of the day this is a village property but is still relatively peaceful compared with other accommodation in the centre of the village near to bars and restaurants. Some improvements to the accommodation are scheduled to take place from December-February 2018 and I'm sorry the apartment was, in hindsight, not the most suitable choice, given your circumstances but I thank you for taking the time to provide us with your considered opinions.
