Just steps away from the sand with no streets to cross, our condo

unit is unique with its direct views of both the Gulf of Mexico and the Santa RosaSound from this top (sixth) floor unit! As you enter the Condo, you will be awestruck with the beauty of the Gulf waters through the sliding glass doors to the terrace in front of you. And, the kitchen window looks out to the boats floating on the Santa Rosa Sound.

The condo is located in a very spacious resort. El Matador is a

gated community with 24-hour security. The guards are visible and located directly across from our building. The resort sits on 5 acres of land at the end of a row of condos and adjacent to 17-miles of uninhabited beach. There are two swimming pools on the property; two hot tubs and fitness center.

We visited for spring break with our 12- and 14-year-old daughters. We loved Fort Walton beach! It's a little off the beaten path, so we gladly missed out on the spring break madness of Destin while still taking advantage of dining and other attractions in Destin. The El Matador is in a beautiful spot--at the end of a strip of condos/hotels with a long, long stretch of uninhabited beach. The common areas (lobby, laundry rooms) were pristine. My husband, son and I just returned from Lynn's getaway. We had the best time while we were there. The condo was very nice and homey. We loved the view of the beach from the 6th floor. The resort is very quiet and relaxing. We used both of the pools daily and they are quit big so you have room to move around. The condo is especially quiet as it stormed one night and you could barely hear the thunder. The kitchen was great to be able to eat some of our meals there. It is close to everything you could need while staying there. If we ever vacation here again we will definitely call Lynn. Highly recommended for a family on a budget or for a couples quiet retreat.

Like the description stated

First of all, Lynn is great to work with. She always answered extremely fast, usually within minutes. The condo is nice and very close to the ocean and beach. Like the description stated, no street to cross and just a 2 minute walk. We went there to have a peaceful and quiet stay, and this unit was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay.

The emerald green and blue water, just so clear and clean, with that sugar white sand, We just wanted to live on the beach. We invited another couple to meet us there. They had never been to florida before and they just fell in love with the place. The condo, the beach, the water, the sky, the food, and the people, and they want to come back next year too! We had excellent views of th Gulf and the Sound. The beds are the most comfortable we've slept on. I could go and on. Our trip was just fantastic!We were immediately relaxed and in vacation mode upon walking thru the door of Lynn's Condo, and you will be too!

As we approached the condo, I was excited to see we had an ocean view from the front and back! Lynn's condo was very clean and well furnished with everything we needed to be "right at home" for a week! It appeared as though the carpet, linens, and bedding had been recently replaced. My husband and I stayed at Lynn's condo with our 6 month old baby over Labor Day weekend. The condo was very close to the pool and beach, so it was especially convenient for lugging our gear back and forth. The beach was heavenly and when we weren't there, the pool was a refreshing escape! We also appreciated the binder of helpful hints for sightseeing, dining, shopping, etc. I would definitely recommend this condo for future guests!

The location of the condo is very convenient to Destin and many restaurants. The condo has everything one needs to have a wonderful vacation. The condo was beyond our expectations. Great veiw of the ocean. Very clean and spacious. Close to everything. Will definitely be back. We had the best vacation ever.
