I am originally from Chicago but have lived in the Arcadia neighborhood since college. We enjoy hiking, biking, and snowshoeing the trails behind the cabin as well as snowboarding and cross country skiing at nearby Snowbowl Resort. Most of our free time over the last couple of years have been taken up on our renovation of the A-Frame and Tiny Sauna Cabin using sustainable building practices. Materials were plant based non toxic coatings that we manufacture and salvaged locally sourced Ponderosa Pine, recycled doors, windows, furniture, and fixtures. All three of us (including our dog) have allergies so we try to keep the cabin as dust and allergen free as possible. It's rewarding to help bring families and friends together from all over the world to enjoy the wonders of Flagstaff and to share the living experience in our cabins. A portion of your homestay fee helps support both Flagstaff Family Food Center, Food Bank and Kitchen as well as our commitment to the Living Wage Pledge for our team.
