Description

Located in the village of Guillemont within the heart of the Somme battlefields area, Guillemont Halt is a self catering holiday home which can accommodate up to 11 guests in spacious and comfortable surroundings. The property offers either all single beds or 3 kingsize beds in 3 of the bedrooms with the rest as singles.

Within walking distance of many important landmarks such as Guillemont Road Cemetery, the 16th Irish Division Celtic Cross outside Guillemont Church, Trones Wood, the Maltz Horn Cross, the 20th Light Division Memorial and the recently inaugurated Jersey Pals Memorial. Longueval and Delville Wood are a couple of minutes drive away. Lochnagar Crater is a 12 minute drive away with the Thiepval Memorial The Ulster Tower and Albert Town Centre 15 minute drive from the house.

“Great house to rent in middle of battlefields”

Great place to stay on the somme right in middle of all of the battlerfields with a German bunker in the cellar, hosts ate fantastic, place very clean and meals supplied are lovely
