Description

Small bungalow in a serene location next to the Hikkaduwa lagoon. Property includes 1/2 acre of landscaped garden, 10m x 3m private swimming pool and jetty on the lagoon. Separate kitchen and caretaker's room. 5 min tuk tuk ride from Hikkaduwa town. Rooms are air conditioned.

There is also a two-man canoe with basic fishing tackle and cool box, in case you want to explore the lagoon.

The bungalow uses environmentally friendly construction and generates electricity from solar panels.

The easiest way to get around is on one of the local tuk-tuks. Alternatively you could rent a motorbike or bicycle.

Interaction with guest

Our caretaker will be on hand to greet you and show you around when you arrive. He will also serve you breakfast, and ensure that the villa is kept clean and tidy. He stays in a separate accommodation on the property. Please do discuss your privacy expectations with him and he will respect them. He is also a good cook!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Purajitha (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
