Description
Madampe House , built in 2014 , is a stunning 4000 sq.feet villa with a frontage onto Madampe lagoon which is just a stones throw from a beautifull and quiet beach. The house , designed by a Scotsman with an eye to Geoffrey Bawa and Charles Rennie Mcintosh makes best use of the sea breezes to keep the property cool although there are ceiling fans and air conditioning.
Downstairs provides a large open plan dining and living area with comfortable seating , couches and day beds , large kitchen with central cooking island , toilet with shower and a storeroom.
Upstairs are 3 large bedroom suites all with their own bathrooms and private veranda. King size beds have 5 star linen and mosquito nets. The master bedroom also has a large tub.
The large garden has a swimming pool with sun loungers and a day bed. A canoe is available for use on the lake. A garden pavilion with large table , seating , lighting and ceiling fan has been added in 2021 - ideal for eating.
The house is fitted out to a high standard with TV , Sony speaker system to accept your own music via Bluetooth , safe , nespresso coffee machine, 4 gas rings for cooking , conventional oven , 2 large fridge freezers , liquidiser and mixer , toaster , rice cooker , small smoker ,cutlery by villeroy &bosch , crockery by paradise road Colombo , a large range of wine , beer and cocktail glasses and a host of cooking implements.
A superb breakfast is prepared for you each morning by our housekeeper , to your requirements and she will also take care of all your clothes washing and ironing and serve drinks and snacks as required. You also have the services of our manager 24/7 and overnight security man.
There are lots of restaurants nearby , takeaway delivery service , and of course you can cook yourself or have our highly recommended chef do it for you.
