Description

The Haven is just a little piece of Heaven where life stands still, set in a stunning location with its own beach to the front and Titchfield National Nature reserve to the rear. This idyllic position is situated on private land with a padlocked gate to public vehicle access and away from the main beach road, so the only sound is the waves and calling of wild birds.

The chalet has been refurbished in to a very high standard and is cosy yet contemporary in design, with eco friendly solar powered electricity. The chalet situated on the beach has a panoramic sea view of the Solent overlooking the Isle of Wight. By day watching the Solent with an ever changing view of yachts, dingies, windsurfers and kitesurfers and by night the sunsets are stunning either inside by the wood burner or outside on the terrace/beach. The romantic views watching sunrise and sunset are out of this world. Titchfield National Nature Reserve to the rear is also perfect for twitchers, nature lovers, artists, photographers, cyclists and walkers. A short walk along the cliff path brings you to the Hamble river and marinas.

Please note that electricity is provided by an excellent newly installed Solar Powered system however it is important that high wattage appliances such as heaters are not used. Provided that this is advice is adhered to you will not notice that it is any different to your electricity at home. A hairdryer is provided in the master bedroom. Strictly no smoking or pets inside the house.

There is a sea view from the lounge/dining area, the terrace outside is on the beach with a south facing aspect and is a sunny place to enjoy the panoramic views.
The Haven Beach House has central heating throughout along with a wood burner in the lounge. There is laminate flooring throughout.

Parking is immediately outside the property in the private road where access is gained to the front door. The lounge door to the other side of the property opens up onto the terrace which is immediately on the beach ideal for playing on the beach, being in or on the sea or simply relaxing on those warm summer evenings.

“Amazing get away”

“Lovely chalet, stunning views!”

Really beautiful chalet, spacious and comfortable. Clean and tidy. Absolutely stunning views and can't get much closer to the sea without getting in it! Garden is really sweet with palm trees and some nice little plants, and with two benches - one for the panoramic views and one for the sunsets, which were breathtaking. It was so enjoyable to sit and watch the kite surfers, cruise ships, sailing boats and ferries going over to the Isle of Wight. I took binoculars with me. Lovely area, and not far to Lee-on-Solent for great fish and chips. Very easy to get to Southampton ferry port and go over to the Isle of Wight for the day. Oven is fine once you are used to it, and the owner was very helpful and came over very quickly when I queried how to best light the oven. Chalet is in a very safe and private area with a locked gate. Only suggestion I have is to have one cupboard in the kitchen empty for guests to store food. We stored our (non fridge) food on the tops, but it would be great to have some storage space for your cereals, snacks etc. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would certainly consider coming again.

“Take your binoculars!”

Perfect location right on the beach, with fabulous views across the Solent; always something interesting to look at. Great for walkers, nature lovers,and those keen on water sports, or just to have a restful break.The chalet is comfortable and spacious.Everything necessary is supplied.The owners are very friendly and helpful.

“Lovely and all about the views”

Basic accommodation with large living space. Beds are small and shower as you would expect from such a building. This stay is all about the views of the solent and the ability to get up and watch the sea and be 10-15 meters away from the waters edge. We live locally and hired for parents so the kids could have sleepovers with grandparents at the beach. Lovely time- pricey as this class the same as a hotel would do with breakfast included but like I say...it’s all about the view.

“Unbeatable location”

What could be more wonderful than a door opening directly onto the beach, with seating outside, sheltered from the elements where needed. Comfortable indoors, we loved it.

“Perfect haven”

Wonderfully relaxing break. Perfect location right on the beach. Great to watch kite surfers and ships. Fabulous walks and wildlife. Lovely clean and comfortable accommodation.
