Wood End Cottage is a beautiful Grade II listed property set in the glorious rolling hills of West Yorkshire and surrounded by lush, green fields. It boasts a wealth of period features with beamed ceiling and open fire providing a cosy base for your holiday or short break and is within easy reach of local attractions such as Summer Wine Country and the Peak District National Park.
Wood End Cottage enjoys a quiet and peaceful location on the edge of Slaithwaite village with stunning views up the Colne Valley and is an idyllic base for your holiday whether walking, cycling or just enjoying a relaxing break - we can even accommodate your horse!
Book a romantic get-away for that special date and receive a bottle of bubbly, luxury chocolates and fresh flowers -our Four Poster will be specially dressed for you!
The beautifully private and quiet garden area offers a decking patio with garden furniture and BBQ - a perfect space to relax after your day exploring the area .
Enjoy fresh local produce at one of the many local restaurants or go it alone in the well-equipped kitchen using herbs from your private herb garden. We can even provide fresh free-range eggs, vegetables straight from the allotment and our own Kalamata olive oil!
Grazing / Stabling available for up to 3 horses / ponies so bring your four-legged friend with you!
