Woodpecker Barn is one of nine cottages that have been sympathetically converted from the existing buildings of a working farm. Enjoying peace and quiet, the holiday cottages are set amidst pasture land, and benefit from beautiful and unforgettable views of stunning countryside. With a heated 38ftx16ft indoor swimming pool and quality recreational facilities. Woodpecker Barn is one of two detached cottages with a large lounge with wood burning stove, well equipped kitchen/diner, downstairs cloak room, all bedrooms incl. flat screen TVs, Freeview and DVD players. Free Wi-Fi, heating, linen, towels etc. all included. Woodpecker Barn has the added advantage of its own private garden with 180 degree views of stunning countryside. Woodpecker Barn is part of a complex which benefits not only from the communal indoor swimming pool, but also a games room and external children's play area, picnic area & barbeque.

“Feb half term”

We had a fantastic time at the cottage lots of room there was 6 of us , we had Tesco deliver whilst we stayed to keep us going for the week nice big fridge and freezer he found us no bother , directions to the property were spot on too , hosts were great , such a beautiful location , would defiantly come back when visiting family in Devon . Local pub was great lovely food only downside was don’t start serving till 630 pm , thanks Naomi and glenn

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Louise (the owner) a message.

If Louise (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
