Old world elegance. Built in 1848, this fully restored, approximately 7500 sq ft. (entire house including 'The Old Rigging Loft') sits just 0.2 of a mile from the beautiful Dock Square, Kennebunkport. Located on the world famous Ocean Avenue, where President HW Bush has his home. This house has 10 bedrooms, each with their own sink, 4 baths and two fireplaces.
The 'Old River House', sits on the Kennebunk River next to the Arundel Yacht Club. Two public parks sit in front of and along side the house.
***IMPORTANT*** As of 1/1/2019, The Old River House has : ELECTRIC GENERATOR SERVICE in case of outage.

3) WINDOWS. Please use WOOD DOWELS in each window. Old Glass Breaks easily.
4) Sorry, we have to say NO, as we had 2 dogs this year make a huge mess.
5) NO WEDDING PARTIES; No Bridegrooms, Bridesmaids stay.

“great weekend”
great spot, in walking distance to everything. Enjoyed the large house as we had 12 of us and there was plenty of room. We all comfortably fit into the dining room for a fun cookout night
