“a beautiful and serene vacation home” This lovely and comfortable house, set in a gorgeous, convenient location is the perfect place from which to enjoy the many splendors of Santa Fe. Susan, the gracious owner, has created a magical oasis complete with art, colorful gardens, and fresh, delicious goodies to eat. Since she knows all the ins and outs of Santa Fe, one does not need any guide books to get around to the most interesting spots. However, there is a full set of literature and current calendar of events in the house for a complete view of what is going on. All in all, this is the perfect place from which to enjoy a glorious vacation.

Spectacular Views, Solitude and Santa Fe Charm

Santa Fe apartment

“Wonderful comfort with outstanding view” My wife and I spent a great week in Santa Fe using this delightful casita as our home base. About 10minutes from good grocery shopping and not much farther from the Plaza and excellent restaurants, this apartment offers a great way to live in and see the area. There is a very serviceable kitchen for light cooking on the occasions when you don't want to go out. A gas fireplace cheered up the living room during a surprise snow storm. The view of the Jemez Mountains can be breath-taking. Furnishings and appointments are all very comfortable. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Casa Betita - The Perfect Place to Stay in Taos

Taos house

  • 2 bedrooms
  • 2 bathrooms
  • sleeps 6

“Beautiful home in a beautiful place” The property is close to the center of Taos and is conveniently located, and yet feels very private and secluded. The home is surrounded by a large deck and the yard is nicely landscaped with two large and beautiful willow trees. The home itself is lovely, comfortable, and nicely decorated. It stays very cool in the summer even without air conditioner. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped, and the is internet as well as washer/dryer and a hot tub. It is also very nice that the house is pet-friendly. We especially loved the large window seats in two of the rooms, and the french doors that open to the yard, providing fresh air and a nice breeze. Everything was very clean and well organized when we got there. There was information about local attractions. Overall, this was a great experience. We expect to be back.

“The Best Vacation Rental House Ever” We just completed our sixth stay at the casita, and each time we have begun to plan our next visit before we even finish the present one. Jeff and Marilyn are the best hosts anywhere. They will help you plan your visit if you wish or will leave you alone if that is your preference. The house is immaculate and comfortable. The kitchen and fridge are completely stocked with quality breakfast provisions and are restocked as needed. The house faces Georgia O'Keeffe's beloved Pedernal and you can watch the changing light and spectacular sunsets. Abiquiu is a gorgeous area with endless places to explore or hike. This is one of the most spectular areas of New Mexico. We have travelled widely and don't know of anywhere more beautiful. There is absolutely nothing that could make this rental any better than it already is.

“Beautiful, relaxing, close to town....just perfect!” My girlfriend and I stayed at Jason and Angela's house and it was truly a perfect experience. The house is complete with 2 bedrooms, three beds, wifi, a full kitchen and living room and dining space, a grill and a super peaceful vibe. They gave us total privacy and the cedar hot tub was a great experience at the end of a day of hiking at Bandelier and provided some awesome stargazing. The house is a quick 15 minutes from downtown Santa Fe and I have to say it was much nicer staying right outside of Santa Fe. The view of the mountains is simply breathtaking.

Taos: Sunrise at the dOme , a magnificent property

Taos house

  • 3 bedrooms
  • 2 bathrooms

“One of a Kind” You can't really tell from the photos that this is truly a dome house. The home is beautiful, clean, modern and the view of the moon through the hexagon window at night is spectacular. Staying at the Dome inspired us to spend more time in Taos - river rafting, concert in the plaza, walking around the town and enjoying some delicious food (green chiles anyone?). At the end of the day, we could settle in for a cocktail, and play games on one of the numerous outdoor tables as the sun got ready to set. Truly a magical and relaxing setting.

About New Mexico

New Mexico, a sizzling southern state, has a rich history that makes vacations here truly spectacular. Its strong Native American and Latin American backbone is part of the reason for the state's unique allure. Towering bluffs and whistling desert scenery surrounds quiet towns where Aztec temples slowly crumble and Navajos weave blankets using time-honored techniques. Quiet and filled with natural beauty, a New Mexico vacation is perfect for adventurers looking to get off the beaten path.

If you're visiting New Mexico, some of the sites you may want to check out include:

  • Red River Canyon: If you're looking for places to go rock climbing, you should start in Red River Canyon. The region also hosts an extensive network of hiking trails for outdoor adventure enthusiasts looking to explore the state's wilderness.
  • White Sands National Monument: In the midst of a pristine desert with fascinating wildlife, the White Sands National Monument is home to the largest gypsum in the world, and its dune-covered landscape is one of the state's most-photographed and iconic geographic features. White Sands is one of the most popular New Mexico National Parks, and offers some of the best New Mexico camping you can find.
  • Carlsbad Caverns: The second-largest cave system of its kind in the world, Carlsbad Caverns is filled with hallowed expanses, limestone columns and ancient milky lakes that hold secrets from bygone eons.
  • Santa Fe: Bohemian and quiet, Santa Fe is a culture vulture's paradise, with a vibrant art scene and outstanding restaurants that serve delightfully flavorful dishes. Many of the best New Mexico museums are in Santa Fe, given its artsy vibe.
  • Albuquerque: New Mexico's largest city is also home to a healthy slice of the state's arts and entertainment culture, as well as fascinating cultural centers, unique architecture and engaging historical sites.

The desert climate and southern location give New Mexico warm weather throughout the year. If you're visiting in October, Albuquerque's International Balloon Fiesta is not to be missed.

If you're staying in Santa Fe, Albuquerque or another New Mexico city, renting a condo is an excellent alternative to a hotel, offering all the comforts of home with more space and privacy. Those intent on experiencing nature can have the best of both worlds by getting a cabin vacation rental in one of the state's many popular outdoor recreation areas.

Large Luxury Home WPool & Jacuzzi In Sonoma Ranch
Beautiful spacious house with a wonderful view

The house is beautiful inside and out! The photos on the listing do not do it justice on how spacious the common areas are with plentiful seating and room to move around for large families. Gorgeous view of the Organ Mountains and Las Cruces itself from atop a nice, quiet neighborhood. Plentiful resturaunt options nearby, 20-30 min away from numerous hiking trails in the nearby mountains, about an hour from White Sands National Park. We went during spring break week and the temperatures stayed in the 70s throughout the day, 50s at night, would recommend asking for the pool to be heated if staying at a similar time; both the pool and hot tub were fantastic to relax in (heated). I would have liked the internet provided to be a little bit faster (2-4 Mbps down) as doing work over a VPN, or if everyone in the house is actively using the DSL, was spotty, but worked fine for general usage (I'm also a bit spoiled from fiber connections). I highly recommend this home to larger groups and families, I'll definitely book this home again if staying in the area another time.see more

Location, location, location!

Cozy, quiet casita in foothills of north Santa Fe. Location is ideal for those who enjoy outdoor activities. Destinations for walking, hiking, biking, skiing, even window shopping are immediately outside the door of the casita or within 30 minutes by car. If you feel like a slug, stay in and watch a movie or relax on the private deck. All the comforts of home in a small abode and perfect for a romantic getaway.see more

Taos: Sunrise at the dOme , a magnificent property
Beautiful house, beautiful views, beautiful amenities, and the absolutely best host in the universe!

Dome house is by far the best vacation rental we have ever experienced. The host is friendly, communicative, helpful, and knowledgeable about Taos and the surrounding area. There were chocolates waiting for us on our pillows upon arrival and every detail was thought out and explained carefully. The morning sun disco ball show, the sunset views from the observation deck, the Mountain View’s from the hot tub are just a few amenities. Heated floors, sauna, fireplace, slippers, flip flops for the hot tub, and robes are more amenities I can think of off the top of my head. The beds are comfy (heated, in fact), the kitchen is nice with all necessary amenities, and the loft adds a fun flair to the living space. Overall, this is the best house we have ever rented. Highly, highly, highly recommend. If we come back to Taos, we will definitely stay here again.see more

Awesome and Perfect for Families

We are a three-generation family of eight who wanted to have some fun in the snow. The house is very spacious, and everything is just as you see pictured. The house was fully stocked and well-kept. The location is perfect with beautiful scenery. A bonus for us was the small hill next to the house, which was perfect for the kids-and adults!- to do some sledding. The owner was also great and provided us with lots of information to help make our stay very enjoyable. We would definitely recommend staying here.see more
