“The Best Vacation Rental House Ever” We just completed our sixth stay at the casita, and each time we have begun to plan our next visit before we even finish the present one. Jeff and Marilyn are the best hosts anywhere. They will help you plan your visit if you wish or will leave you alone if that is your preference. The house is immaculate and comfortable. The kitchen and fridge are completely stocked with quality breakfast provisions and are restocked as needed. The house faces Georgia O'Keeffe's beloved Pedernal and you can watch the changing light and spectacular sunsets. Abiquiu is a gorgeous area with endless places to explore or hike. This is one of the most spectular areas of New Mexico. We have travelled widely and don't know of anywhere more beautiful. There is absolutely nothing that could make this rental any better than it already is.

Rare Abiquiu Lakefront Home - Experience O'Keeffe Country in Luxury. 360 Views!
Amazing

I think amazing sums our visit up nicely. The view. The wildlife. The home. The hospitality. First the view. I can't say enough about the view. It changed every few moments as the time passed and the clouds moved in and out. The wildlife. Rabbits, birds, lizards and even cows. The plant life and rock formations were a joy on our walks. The Casita is beautiful, smartly laid out, nicely decorated and well stocked with cooking utensils and spices for dinners at home. The rental process was very easy and with communication before the visit I felt well prepared to find the Casita even though it is tucked away. The tip about the 4x4 was a good one. I would recommend this Casita to anyone who is looking to unplug and enjoy impressive views and ever changing landscape out large windows.see more

Casita de Chuparosa

My husband and I rented the Casita de Chuparosa for two nights at the end of June. The plan was to meet my mom and niece who were driving up from Albuquerque. When we arrived we were pleased to see the property was lovely and well maintained, with a beautiful view of the surrounding area. The horse, llamas and mini burros were well cared for and added a nice vibe to the place. Jeff and Marilyn were very attentive and helpful. The casita itself is lovely, but not quite suited for four adults, two of whom don't sleep in the same bed. My 23 year old niece had to sleep on a very small couch. The interior of the house is very southwestern with books and art adorning every inch of the place (a little less might be better to accommodate guests suitcases and belongings). Overall, the stay was very pleasant - toured Ghost Ranch, Georgia O'Keeffe's home, visited the Purple adobe lavender farm, ate at the Abiquiu Inn and Bode's. I would recommend the Casita de Chuparosa for anyone visiting abiquiu.see more
