Waiora Gardens Retreat is located in the wild hills of subtropical Northern New Zealand. Surrounded by native forest , close to the historic Hokianga Harbour this is truly Maori country.

Interesting people live their dreams here, artists and writers, pioneers and homesteaders, nature lovers and philosophers.

If you find your way here you are truly blessed as the magical places are disappearing fast...

Our home is your home, a retreat away from noisy motorways, pollution and stress. Waiora Gardens presents a welcome opportunity to come back to yourself , relax, reflect, rejuvenate and enjoy living.

Our Retreat is rustic, comfortable and expansive with lily ponds, yoga studio, large communal and cosy main house and kitchen and many unusual features born from years of creative dream construction.

The main guest room has a queen bed, a small kitchen area, lovely tiled bathroom, sitting veranda and an extra room which can be booked additionally.

Being a small family run business you will be warmly integrated into our home if you so choose and if you wish to have your own space we will totally respect that too.

Come and join us for a vegetarian breakfast in the morning.

We already have wonderful feedback from other listing sites and we feel confident your stay here will be precious and unique...
