*Kuciste 51b apartment is ideal for four adults and one child.
- consisting of two double bedrooms for up to 4 persons and for ** +1 person small bedroom .
Located on the Peljesac Peninsula in the village of Kuciste our apartment is set in a prime waterfront position in a quiet, picturesque, old sea captains village with a direct view to the medieval town of Korcula on the Dalmatian coast; consisting of two double bedrooms and single bedroom ) , one bathroom, one seperate WC, open plan kitchen, dining and lounge which has a ground level unobstructed view to the sea. There is an outside seating in the garden amongst the olives and only a few steps away for a swim in the crystal clear and clean waters of the Adriatic sea.Parking on property. There is an off shore mooring for small size speed boats in front of property. Short walk to local shops, restaurants, bicycle, boat and windsurf hire.
NB: Peak Season bookings taken in multiple of seven days only
The apartment being positioned at the stunning backdrop of Mount Ilija is perfectly situated for scenic walks, cycling, hiking or just “time out” from stresses of everyday life. In contrast its waterfront location offers windsurfing, kitting, snorkelling, fishing, boating, sailing or swimming.
The location of our apartment is also very suitable for people of the older generation, particularly in May/June before the crowds arrive and again in September/October when the water is at its warmest, the restaurants uncrowded, the grapes ready for harvesting and the new season's wines available for tasting. The scenic long flat seaside road is very special for a stroll at any time of the day (or night).
A central location for excursions to medieval towns of Korcula(10min boat trip) and Dubrovnik(150km); Ston(55km) 14th century, 5km long fortification walls and the centuries old salt pans; boat trip to Mljet National Park; boat tour of Peljesac Riviera with stops for swimming on the islands of Badija and in Lumbarda; Mostar and Medugorje(pilgrimage site);Kravice spectacular waterfalls where you can swim in close by Bosna and Hercegovina an approximate two hour drive.
Peljesac peninsula is rich in biodiversity and unspoiled beauty. Clean air, unpolluted crystal blue sea, scents of Mediterranean vegetation and sounds of nature will provide a perfect environment to relax away from every day urban life. Discover and enjoy paradise beaches hidden in coves and bays of Peljesac.Take a walk in nature, enriched with scents of authentic Mediterranean herbs and sounds of inhabitants in luscious pine tree woods; from picturesque landscapes, hills and fields, endless vineyards, olive groves and unique steep slopes will present to you an unforgettable scenery of stone , woods, sea and sky.

“Perfect for windsurfing, swimming or just relaxing”
This waterside apartment cannot be recommended too highly nor can its owners Joe and Natasha. The location is perfect for windsurfing or swimming as it is literally right on the pebble beach with only a quiet road between the beach and the garden. If you are a windsurfer you can leave your sails fully rigged hanging from the roof of a special garage with electric door, so you can be on the water in seconds. The location on little promontory allows a clear wind for the prevailing afternoon winds but in general it is partly angled onshore. There is a windsurfing school 150 metres away and a much bigger one a 5-min drive along the coast. For quieter moments, you can sit beneath small trees on the beach which (in June) was literally our private beach for two weeks. And you have a little garden beneath olive trees with a marble dinner table and great views of the sound and the island opposite. You can walk or cycle all along the sea front past houses that reflect the maritime history - some of them 19th century sea captains' homes when a large sailing fleet was based here - and luxury yachts and cruise liners moore up daily on the other side of the channel. The flat itself is spotless and very well-appointed with every detail considered, right down to washing powder. The bedrooms are air-conditioned if needed. We also enjoyed the peninsula for walks, car trips and the quick crossing to the very large island of Korcula, including the walled city of the same name. The village of Orebic is 5 minutes by car with a nice seaside promenade of cafés, restaurants and stone houses (and the ferries to Korcula). Last but certainly not least, the welcome from Joe and Natasha was simply outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble if we asked for anything but otherwise we had our little garden, meal area and beach area to ourselves. We intend to come back next year, dates permitting!

The foot ferry to Korcula is certainly a must to explore and enjoy this magical little city, it dates back to the 12th century, so very atmospheric and a great day/morning out. This area of Peljesac is well known as the capital of water sports in the whole of Croatia, and every few years holds the World Windsurfing Championships as well as the Nationals on a regular basis - the apartments sea front terrace offers a great front row seat for those not on the water! It was a pleasure to be of service. So glad you are planning to return and I look forward to being of service again.

“I would definetly come back again!”
I had a wonderful stay at Natasha and Jozo's place with my partner- I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing and authentic Croatian experience. The description and impression of the property is accurately portrayed in the listing and in reality the apartment and surrounds are beautiful. The apartment is super clean and well maintained with all the touches to make your stay homely and comfortable- we really appreciated this along with the delicious local wine and prosciutto on arrival! We also really enjoyed the outdoor garden space with great views which was a perfect spot to relax in the evenings. The apartment was also really convenient to explore so many interesting surrounding areas, so we found it a really good base for exploration. At the same time Kucisce was a great place to hang out just to relax and not to mention excellent for windsurfing and beautiful walks and bike rides in the hills. Natasha and Jozo were great hosts, friendly and approachable with lots of local knowledge and perfect English and Croatian which was a bonus.
