Description

In the Border Ranges near Kyogle is this two bedroom modern house with a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. View to mountains with creek frontage. All weather easy access from road. Perfect for a relaxing weekend away from it all. Everyone who stays says it is a perfect place to relax and commune with nature.

The space

The house is fully furnished with a large open plan living area with raked ceilings, combustion stove, nice fully equipped kitchen and laundry. The lounge area has a television, DVD, stereo as well as books to read. A large gas BBQ is supplied on the covered veranda that surrounds the whole house. The property uses filtered rain tank water and gas hot water and gas cooking. Guests must bring all their own food and beverage supplies as well as towels and linen.

The house is located in its own large fenced paddock and adjoins another large paddock that runs down to the tree lined creek. Both paddocks are regularly mowed.

Ours is a place to escape from the pressures of modern life and so we have next to no internet. You can use your mobile phone if you really have to, by walking up the the road where there is service.

Guest access

The house is located in a rural area with a fully fenced yard on an acreage property. The driveway area, internal access road and one paddock adjacent to the house are regularly mowed. There is access to a lovely creek. Guests have full use of the house and yard area.

Interaction with guests

We have two lovely ladies, Vicki and Sarah who live just up the road who guests may contact in case there is an issue whilst staying. Vicki's and Sarah's contact details will be provided to guests.

The Neighbourhood

Our neighbourhood is quiet, green and is imbued with country serenity. There is very little traffic. It is a nice place to get away from all the stress of modern life.

Getting around

We are tucked away from it all so there is no public transport available. The last 9 kilometres to the property is on a well maintained public unsealed road. The closest shop is at Wiangaree which is 18 kilometres from the property along Summerland Way. The closest large centre is Kyogle where you will find all amenities. Kyogle is 30 kilometres from the property and the trip takes around 27 minutes each way.

House Rules

Our beautiful house is a place for a peaceful stay. It is not a place to have a loud party or more guests than are registered to stay. There is no smoking in the house. You may bring your dog, however, we request you do not allow them on furniture or in the bedrooms.

We ask all guests to take their rubbish when they leave as the is no garbage collection in this area.
