Chalet Charbray was completed in 2012 in the family-oriented resort of La Tzoumaz in the heart of the 4 Vallées in Switzerland. This two-story, 250 m2 chalet with a mezzanine, large balconies and terrace has stunning views of the alps, and its privileged position next to a forest provides absolute tranquility and privacy. During the winter ski season, Chalet Charbray is ski-in and only a few minutes' drive from the La Tzoumaz ski lift which is part of the world renowned 4 Vallées/Verbier ski area. In the summer months, beautiful hiking and mountain biking trails are at your fingertips.

The chalet has 4 bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 10 people. Two bedrooms have luxuriously appointed en suite bathrooms with Rain Shower heads, one room has 2 bunk beds (for a total of 4 people), and the last guest room has a double bed which can be made up as one large(180cm width) or as two beds. The bunk bed room and last guest room share a large, well-appointed full bathroom. Direct access to the terrace - and HotSprings Spa hot tub for 5 people - is possible through two of the bedrooms. A sauna with its own separate shower awaits sports and relaxation enthusiasts alike.

In the middle of the spacious living and dining room area is a 3-sided glass-protected fireplace which provides an elegant yet cozy ambiance. Large (3-meter/9-foot long) windows and sliding glass doors open onto the wrap-around balcony, providing stunning views from any vantage point. The charming mezzanine with an additional reading, seating and television-viewing area overlooks the living and dining room area and offers a gorgeous view of its own.

The state-of-the-art, fully stocked kitchen overlooks the dining room area, separated by a glass and wood bar with seating. Double refrigerators, two full-size Zug ovens, plate-warming drawer, 5-plate Siemens induction cooking surface and Zug dishwasher make cooking for 10 a pleasure.

The chalet has 2 Wifi networks, 3 televisions, a ski storage room (with 2 toboggans for your use), washer (10 kg/22 lbs), dryer (8 kg/17.6 lbs), and plenty of cupboards and storage space for your clothes and luggage. We recommend that you arrive by car. Access to the chalet is just a few steps from the private parking spots, for easy loading and unloading of people, luggage and equipment.

Getting around

Located below the telecabin in La Tzoumaz, Chalet Charbray is ski-in with winter snow. For ease of access to the village, though, we recommend having a car - there is a bus which drops off at the start of Impasse de la Chapelle and it takes about 12 minutes to walk to the end of the Impasse, where Chalet Charbray is located. Alternatively, you can reach the center of town (in front of Proxi grocery store) via the pedestrian chemin des Bisses (10 minutes).

House rules

Please be aware that the water in the jacuzzi is changed on the day of your arrival and will require approximately 24 hours to heat up to a 38-39 degree Celsius temperature. Whenever possible, we will change the water a few days before you arrive, but if this has not been possible, we suggest you use the sauna on your first day instead! And remember - the sauna takes a couple of hours to heat up to your desired temperature!
