Welcome to our eco B&B, born to resurrect a delightful nineteenth century house dug in Tuff with memory and original forms ...
Excellent starting point to visit the SASSI di MATERA, Castellaneta, Ginosa Marina or Alberobello, Castellana Grotte, Martina Franca, Taranto, Bari, Ostuni, the characteristic villages of Basilicata and the sea, the OASIS Lipu, the Rock-Hewn Churches etc.
We have three rooms of which the retro and the barn are adapted in typical caves!
An obligatory stop for the local gastronomy is one of the various butcher shops devoted to the art of roast beef in the famous stone rings.
Dine in retrobbottega before the various local appetizers: cheese, cured salami, bread, olives, cheese, pickled vegetables and bread by Laterza together with excellent local Red wine, followed by steaming meat from skewers is brought in, from the Lamb with onion saltimbocca, sausage, barbecued, fried, skewered lamb etc.. really content cost!!

Abbiamo soggiornato al bed & breakfast Mater Domini sei giorni, trovando un ottima combinazione qualità prezzo. Posizionato in zona tranquilla ma comunque non lontano dal centro di Laterza.
