A PRIVATE GETAWAY in the middle of UNESCO World Heritage Jungfrau-Aletsch - ideal for families, couples or friends who want to enjoy incredible views around the house or explore the region hiking, biking, walking, climbing, skiing, paragliding or rafting.
The TYPICAL SWISS CHALET is situated in the middle of the Valley of 72 Waterfalls, 400m from the famous Trümmelbach Falls. You will have great access to the area, summer and winter, because of the direct connection to the street and the nearby bus stop.
The house is only minutes away from THE 2 BIG SKI AND HIKING AREAS: Schilthorn - Mürren and Grosser Scheidegg - Männlichen - Wengen. Directly in front of the chalet, you find a big classic- and cross-country-ski-loop from up to 12 km.
THE CHALET
Typical Swiss Chalet with the COMFORTS OF TODAY'S LIVING offers a SONOS sound system, free fast WiFi, Cable and Satellite TV, a Blue Ray and 2 DVD Player.
- First floor
A small stairway brings you to the middle floor of the house. Here you find the fully equipped kitchen, the living room with dining space and fireplace, one of the bedrooms (2x, 90x200) and a bathroom with a walk-in shower, a washbasin and a toilet. From the living room, you can enter the balcony, from which you can enter the garden with terrace and outside fireplace. The wood for the 2 fireplaces is free.
- Second floor
On the top floor of the chalet, you will find 2 bedrooms, the main bathroom with bathtub, a walk-in shower, 2 washbasins and a toilet, as well as an open lounge space.
In the main bedroom en-suite, we offer a double bed (160x200). Just across the hallway, you will find a bedroom with 4 single beds (90x200). The lounge with 2 latex mattresses in the open lounge space, can also be used for 2 people to sleep on. Bedding itself is possible for 10 people.
For the little ones, we offer two child beds (60x120 cm). One full baby bed with slats and the second one is a travelling version, but also with a good mattress. We can put them up for you, together with a baby bath and a high chair.
- Ground floor
The ground floor offers, beside a washer and a dryer, a soccer table. On this floor, you will also find an extra fridge, an extra freezer, a microwave and shelves for extra storage. Here you can put your ski’s, ski shoes, mountain bikes and suitcases.
- The balcony, garden, terrace
From the balcony and from the garden you have an amazing view. For you to enjoy this in comfort, you can use the electric sun blind, covering the whole balcony, or you can use the electric heather.
In the garden, you find seating for 10 people, an outdoor fire place and a charcoal grill.
- Parking
The chalet offers parking space for 3 cars directly at the house. More cars can be parked at the parking of the Trümmelbach Falls. The walk from the house is 400 meters (app. 3-4 min).
- Bedding and towels
For each person, you will have a summer- and winter-duvet 150x200 with pillow, as well as one towel 100x150, one towel 50x100 and one wash cloth 30x30.
- Surroundings
The distance to the first neighbor is 200m. The neighbor at the other side is the village Lauterbrunnen itself, which is approximately 1,5 km from the house. The views that you can see on Airbnb are the views directly from the house itself.
Further the house is 400m away from the famous Trümmelbach Falls. At the other side of the road, there is a little river, coming directly from the Trümmelbach Falls and therefor from the Jungfraujoch above. At this creek, there is a pathway and cycle path, which comes from the Falls and leads to Lauterbrunnen or Stechelberg or even as far as Interlaken. At this path no cars are allowed.
