Description
L'Abreuvette is located on the beautiful Argens river, only 4 km from Lorgues, a pretty village in the heart of the departement Var.
Lorgues has renowned restaurants and is surrounded by shops and supermarkets. The location is superb. At only ca 45 km from Saint-Tropez, 80 km from Cannes. It is 10 km from the Nice-Marseille motorway (A8), exit Le Luc, and at 15 km from Les Arcs, TGV railway station. Nice and Marseille airports are only on hours drive away.
A big living room opens out to the 3 big terraces with the 2 swimming pools, one facing South and the other East. The small pool is heated and can be used from May-October. The bigger round one generally can be used from June, July and August. A large and light well equipped kitchen also opens onto the terrace, which gets the morning sun for breakfast.
There is also a smaller living room where children can play and teenagers may feel independent.
The house has a peaceful atmosphere and is built in an area of around 4,500 square meters secluded landscaped garden.
There are shady areas under large trees, some of which are fruit trees. The fruits are at the guests disposal.
By the summer swimming pool there is a pergola covered with a spring flowering Wisteria and summer flowering Trumpet Creeper under which the summer kitchen with Barbecue is located.
From the garden there is a hidden stairway leading down to the river, where you can fish. There is also a petanque area in the garden and TV with wi-fi inside.
Included in the price is the bed linen and towels (changed weekly) and house cleaning. Maintenance of the swimming pool is done once a week. Pool towels are also complimentary.
If you look for quietness and privacy in a house with a 4stars standard. This one is the right one for you!.

The U shaped house has 2 wings. The South wing has 2bedroms and a big living room with a fireplace. The North wing consist of a one bedroom apartment with its own entrance (if wanted). In the center of the house is the entrance and the hall and a stair up to the upper bedroom with WC and shower.

“Perfect family holiday in Provence”
Just come back from an amazing two weeks at l'Abruevette. The villa is very welcoming, spacious, exceptionally well equipped, comfortable and most of all very private. We loved the large outdoor BBQ area and made full use of the fridge (for the rose wine of course), whilst sitting under the vine covered pergola. The big circular pool was a real winner for us all. The children never came out of it and us parents frequently visited the lovely water to cool down. Despite it not being heated it was a perfect temperature and we didn't use the smaller pool much at all. We had two children in the upstairs bedroom, which was absolutely fine for them. However due to the ceiling height, it would be a little cramped I feel for adults. However having a four bed roomed, four bathroomed house was excellent for our needs as we went as two families. The weather was glorious the whole two weeks we were there and the location of the villa was great for exploring, we managed Monaco, St Tropez and the Gorges (once we had dragged ourselves off the comfy sunbeds!) This was out first visit to Provence and based on our experience of the Villa and location, we will definately be back!

“Amazing villa”

“Great place to stay, full of privacy and sun but requires more care and attention to tidiness”

We proud our self to offer an extremely clean property and should there be anything not perfect we would like to be able to "repair" this right away instead of hearing it after the stay. We deeply apologize if there was something not perfect. Also our Cleaning Lady was very surprised as she did not hear the slightest complaint from this guest. For our future guests: Please let us know instantly if something is not to your total satisfaction - we guarantee you a pleasant stay in clean and tidy villa.

“Superb Villa in an excellent location”
We stayed here for a week as a family to celebrate my dad's 60th birthday. The villa was stunning and, as mentioned previously, the pictures do not do it justice. It is well maintained and the pools are superb. It is in the middle of nowhere which suited us well but a car is essential. The kitchen has everything you could need and the villa has lots of personality. The BBQ is small and not brilliant but we still managed to cook most nights on it. The three downstairs bedrooms are excellent but the upstairs one is a sauna, even with the shutters closed all day. The only disappointing factor of the villa was that we arrived at 4pm on the Saturday and the villa was not yet ready so we had to stay outside until after 6. Then on the Saturday morning that we were due to leave, the water was turned off at 9.30 and workmen started coming into the house etc even though it was technically ours until 10am which was frustrating.
