Description
Hello, I am Paola, the owner of this lovely apartment: it was the large home of my family of origin, where I grew up and lived until 1992, when I got married. It is a mansion of the 30s of 20th Century, built in the typical linear style of the time, very bright and spacious, airy and comfortable, with large rooms, a large living area, a modern kitchen, 3 bathrooms and a huge beautiful roof terrace. My husband Maurizio and I decided to rent it, starting in august 2013, mainly for passion. We love the idea of hosting travelers from all over the world who come to our remote land to visit Lecce and Salento. We love to directly manage our small accommodation business, delivering a good quality service and taking care of all details. We like to get in touch with our guests and help them in discovering the beauty of our land and town, our traditions and our culture of hospitality: our first wish is to make them feel happy about choosing our home and our land for their holidays. In short, we like to feel ourselves such as small ambassadors of Lecce and SalentO. in 2013, we decided to renovate CASA GRECO and reorganize it as a holiday home, taking great care to maintain its typical architecture and its original vintage atmosphere that reminds a quiet, relaxed, comfortable and simply elegant lifestyle, such as it was once upon a time.
Living in CASA GRECO means having at your exclusive disposal, in absolute privacy and independence, a lovely large apartment with all the rooms and the accessories you may need to live comfortably and in complete freedom like you are at home: it is the ideal choice for the vacation of a family or a small group of friends. The house - furnished in a fresh style in which are nicely blended contemporary taste and love for the past, even with original vintage furniture and objects - has got: a large hall, a living-dining room, an office,, 3 large double bedrooms (one with balcony), two bathrooms in the sleeping area (with shower), a comfortable kitchen complete with all appliances and accessories and a bathroom-laundry with washing machine. Also, the apartment offers to its guests a beautiful large roof terrace, well furnished with sun umbrella, table, chairs, plants and other garden furniture, where - from April to October - you can relax in the sun, have your breakfast, lunch or dinner, or just enjoy the fresh air of the night .The house is equipped with free WiFi Internet, heating, AC only in the bedrooms, fans, bed linen, towels, crockery and any other useful accessory. The house can accommodate up to 6 adults (also, we can provide cots, if requested, for free). The apartment is rented entirely and exclusively to a single customer, in complete privacy, even for short periods, with an "all inclusive” customized rate. CASA GRECO offers a typical accommodation in apartment, providing all the accessories you need to live comfortably in your home and to independently perform activities of daily management of the house.
CASA GRECO is very easy to reach, even by car or walking from the railway station. It is located on one of the main ancient avenue of Lecce, in a very comfortable area with several parking zone, just at 400 meters from the beautiful Piazza Duomo, the heart of the historical center of the town. From a private gate overlooking the tree-lined sidewalks of University Avenue - the avenue that runs along the ancient city walls and connects Porta Napoli and Porta Rudiae, the two most spectacular entrances to the amazing treasure trove of artistic beauty that is the historical center of Lecce - you leads to a small courtyard with flower beds which overlooks the independent entrance door of CASA GRECO, which is located on the first floor. CASA GRECO is run directly by ourselves: we live nearby, at only 500 meters, and will be pleased to give you all the assistance and information to make your stay comfortable, pleasant and interesting. In the apartment it's not allowed bringing pets and smoking.
Because of its excellent location at the entrance of the old town, in an area easily accessible by car and served by parking zones and shops of all kinds, CASA GRECO is the ideal place to spend a pleasant stay in Lecce, discovering the artistic beauties and the surprising vitality of its delightful historical center, but also to explore all the Salento and discover its wonderful sea, its beautiful countryside, its ancient villages full of culture, history and traditions and its many culinary delights. The magnificent baroque architecture of the historical center of Lecce, churches, alleys, courts, craft shops, the cafes and all other places of cultural, tourist and gastronomic of the old town and its lively nightlife, are located in the house and can be easily reached in a few minutes stroll. CASA GRECO is definitely a perfect choice to visit the Salento: you can leave easily every morning from the parking under the house and reach in few minutes the sliding road network Salento for a different tour to the beautiful towns of the coast (Otranto, Santa Cesarea, Castro , Leuca, Gallipoli, Porto Cesareo, ...), which is only a few tens of kilometers, or to discover the beautiful villages of the hinterland (Acaya, Otranto, Ostuni, Corigliano d'Otranto, Greek Salento, Leuca, ... ) to return in the evening in the 'capital' of Salento, a fun evening in the historic center of the city or simply rest in your comfortable and beautiful home.

“Excellent Apartment”
Lovely apartment in an excellent location for visiting Lecce Historical centre. Exceptionally comfortable, well equipped spacious apartment just a few minutes walk from the historical centre of Lecce, local bus service and train station. Short walk to local small supermarket and vegetable market, other shops and a host of small bars and restaurants. Casa Greco has a private secure entrance with stairs to living accommodations on first floor. it has very comfortable beds in spacious rooms and very well appointed bathrooms and kitchen. The private roof terrace is a bonus. The apartment owners went the extra mile to make us welcome and our stay a delight.

“Outstanding”
Fabulous location. Easy cheap parking. Spotless, spacious and well equipped. The patio was very nice with a great view of the new moon. Food truck on the road below was noisy at night.

Response from the owner Thank you for reporting us that surprising and unpleasent new situation related to the noise from the van fasfood on the street. We have noticed to the local Police everything about the situation of the van fastfood and we are confident that they will soon eliminate the problem. We would assure our future guests that they will sleep well at Casa Greco, just like some hundreds of guests that staied here in the last 4 years did.
