Description
CASA NOSTOS is a villa with a wonderful seaview in the Ammouso Bay, Lefkada Island. The blue of the greek sea, the green of olive trees and the silence are its main characteristics. The villa is divided into 4 independent apartments
APARTMENT SLEEP 3
1 bedroom with double bed in the mansarda, living room with sofa bed, kitchen, bath with shower, big terrace with seaview
APARTMENT SLEEP 5: 1 BEDROOM with double bed and 1 BEDROOM with 2 single beds, a large LIVING ROOM with sofa bed. KITCHEN , very conformatble BATHROOM, with shower, very large private PATIO, with shadow and breathtaking seaview.
All apartments have kitchen fully equipped (fridge and freezer, cooker, electric oven), full set of kitchenware.
TV and AIR CONDITIONING.
We provide blankets and towels, with weekly change, cleaning tools and materials (included in price).
THE VILLA: built in 2009 using traditional local stone and wood, Casa Nostos is located on a green hill in the Ammouso Bay, 600 metres from the sea and with a wonderful seaview. It is a green and very quite place, there are no other houses around, only olive trees. It is easily reachable by the main road. Gravel road in the last 300 metres. Parking lot is close to the house.
THE BEACHES: in the Ammouso Bay there are 3 beaches, with white pebbles and clear waters. The closest beach is only 600 metres from the villa. On the Lefkada Island there are many other beaches, of all kinds: at your choice!
SURROUNDINGS: the closest village, Marandohori, is at 5 km. A bigger village, Vasiliki, is at 12 km: in Vasiliki you find shops, restaurants, 2 supermarkets, petrol station. Vasiliki is the port for the little ferry boats to the islands of Itaki and Kefalonia (1 hour trip).
WHAT TO DO: water sports in Vasiliki Bay (windsurf, catamaran, diving), mountain bike (we have 2 bikes ready for the guests), ... or just be lazy on the beach!
HOW TO ARRIVE:
BY PLANE: airport in Preveza (12 km from Lefkada Island)
BY FERRY BOAT: Ferry boat from Venice (or Ancona) to Igumeniza and about 150 km of highway to Lefkada Island. No need of a second ferry boat because the island is connected to the mainland by a rotating bridge.
