Lovely stay in Richard’s spotless villa, well equipped, very comfortable bed and Brilliant outside space. Lovely welcome basket and host organised shopping for us prior to our arrival. Lots of nice touches such as washing & dishwasher tablets , shampoo etc and with Covid situation antibacterial gel on entry and certificates showing cleaning standards. The pool is great and a lovely sandy beach 5 mins walk. The village has a lovely bread shop, butchers and small supermarket. It’s a very quiet location so great if you just want to chill, however easy access to Brindisi airport (25mins) and Other main roads to southern Puglia.

This was our second stay at one of Richard and Noirin's villas, so we already knew that the villa was going to be amazing. We were not disappointed - the villa itself was spotless and so well maintained. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the cooking equipment you could need. In addition to this the fantastic welcome basket that was left was enough to keep us going for a good few days. The villa has a washing machine, which was so handy having 2 children who constantly change their clothes! A large clothes airer and pegs are all provided. There is an area in the villa containing books and games to keep everyone entertained. The wifi connection is excellent, and there is also a TV in the villa. The outside area is fantastic - the kids loved the HUGE pool! There are so many different areas to relax both in the sun and shade. There is a wonderful barbecue area and plenty of seating areas to both eat and chill out in the sun. The outside toilet and shower are so handy, and are once again spotlessly clean. The pool is exceptionally well maintained, with Richard coming twice a week to clean the area. The information book provided in the villa is really well thought out and contains such valuable information about the local area and different activities available. In addition to this Richard and Noirin are always on hand if you have any queries or questions about local restaurants, great places to visit etc. They responded immediately to any questions that we texted to them and their knowledge on Lendinuso and the surrounding areas is fantastic. As hosts they have got the balance just right in terms of being at your disposal should you need it, but never being intrusive with it. The villa is set in a quiet road in a traditional village - perfect for exploring. There is a local bakery, butchers and fishmongers all providing a delicious range of fresh products. The beach is just a few minutes walk away and there are a number of bars and cafes along the coast where you can enjoy refreshments. We had a fabulous time here, and we will definitely be returning to the area in the future, and without doubt will be booking into one of Richard and Noirin's villas.

Villa Nicola is ideally placed to explore Puglia. It is in a quiet street and has a completely private garden and pool which we loved. There is a beach and several restaurants within walking distance and other beaches a short drive away. We liked Torre San Gerrano - very Italian, a lovely promenade to walk on and great cafe on the beach (superb chocolate croissants!). Lecce, Otranto, Ostuni and Gallipoli all less than an hour away by car. The villa has a very well equipped kitchen and everything you need for a holiday. The owners are very helpful and welcoming and can advise on such things as where to park when sight seeing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this villa.

Villa Nicola was just what we needed for 2 weeks of relaxation. A fabulous pool, accommodation with everything we needed including games and books and lots of shady space to sit outside and enjoy the peace. The apricots and plums fresh from the trees and the welcome package were a lovely touch. It was great to be somewhere where Italians holiday: if you want a busy town with lots of partying Brits this is not for you, but it was heaven for us. The rhythm of life is slow with a capital S, there are places to eat along the shore and in the village and we are determined to learn a bit of Italian for our next visit so we can do more than say the odd word and point and smile a lot. The house has recommendations for activities and restaurants if you want to venture further afield. Richard and Noirin could not have been kinder or more helpful, going way above and beyond to ensure we had a relaxing stay. We will be back.

Villa Nicola is located in a quiet seaside town, very Italian, so learn to slow down! Excellent accommodation. The villa has two lovely bedrooms, sleeps up to six. There is everything that you could possibly need for your holiday provided in the villa. As this was our second visit we knew to only take hand-luggage and make full use of the washing machine. Richard and Noirin are brilliant hosts. Nothing is too much trouble and they are super-helpful. The fabulous welcome basket is more than enough to keep you fed for a couple of days. Ask Richard and Noirin for recommendations for places to eat or visit and look through the comments in the Guest Book for ideas too. The garden is just great. A lovely, shady loggia for sitting out and eating. There is another seating area on the other side of the garden too which makes use of the shaded side in the morning - great place to sit with your first coffee of the day. The pool is just fabulous; huge. Great to do lengths and work on your fitness or work off the pasta. We intend to visit again too. We highly recommend this villa.

From the very first email communication with Richard and Noirin, I knew this was going to be a special holiday! They responded quickly to all queries prior to travelling regarding the villa, the surrounding area and places of interest further afield. Their detailed directions to the villa ensured a stress-free drive from Naples! Richard and Noirin are the most welcoming, gracious and friendly hosts we have ever met. They are so passionate about Puglia and they have really thought of everything to ensure guests have the best possible holiday. The welcome basket provided was overflowing with groceries, which lasted for numerous meals. The information file was fabulous, full of great facts about the area and helped to form the basis of our itineraries for our day trips ( when we could extract ourselves from the pool!). The villa itself is beautiful, spotlessly clean and well laid out. The two bedrooms have great wardrobe space (with hangers) and numerous chests of drawers. The second bedroom is well equipped with a double bed and 2 singles. All beds were exceptionally comfortable. The kitchen was very well supplied with all utensils required and again spotlessly clean. The outside space was magnificent. The pool was gorgeous, such a fantastic size for a private villa. Richard kept it exceptionally well maintained. There were many areas of sun and shade outside and the sun loungers were extremely comfortable and luxurious. Richard and Noirin were brilliant at keeping us informed about local events occurring, which really helped us get to know the area better. We couldn’t rate this villa or our holiday experience more highly. Richard and Noirin work tirelessly to ensure their guests have a wonderful holiday. It has been our absolute pleasure to stay in Villa Nicola and we hope to return some day.

The villa offers a lot of privacy and relaxation. It has a large nice garden, with a great large swimming pool. Ideal for people with (young) children. The owners of the villa offer the guest a very high service level, both in terms of facilities available within the villa itself as other aspects such as a welcome basket and high level of responsiveness to questions from the guests. Wat is also ideal is the kitchen (all facilities available needed for cooking nice meals), towels for the swimming pool and great outdoor furniture around the swimming pool.

Our second stay at a Richard and Noirin villa and could not be happier. Super accommodation: clean, spacious, well-kept; very well-equipped in the kitchen and well-furnished with ample storage for holiday clothes etc. Villa Nicola is superb. Lovely pool and large enough to actually feel like you can swim proper lengths – thereby justifying the excess of pasta and pizza! The garden area is spacious with lots of seating to suit everyone: sun-lovers and shade-lovers alike. We certainly made plenty of use of the sun-loungers and shady seating area and, depending on our mood, we’d either follow the sun or dive into the shade for a little relief. Eating out in the evening was a real pleasure and we enjoyed it so much we spent all evening sitting out. We discovered the games compendium in the villa and learned some new games, different versions of old favourites and, of course, cards. The bedrooms are well-appointed with chests of drawers and wardrobes for storage. The large room offered more than enough space for two people and, with the curtain drawn across the middle, became almost two rooms. The second bedroom was perfect for our son and being on the shadier side of the villa remained cooler even on the hotter days. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped and has everything you could possibly need to rustle up a simple snack or a full dinner. We never really made use of the breakfast bar or sofa and chairs: preferring to sit outside. The barbecue is fantastic and we loved the outdoor cooking and eating. The Welcome Basket is stocked with enough goodies to keep you well-fed for a couple of days at least. The folder of info in the Villa is a good read: all you need to know about the local area and suggestions for places to visit plus restaurants and bars. Villa Nicola is brilliant for two couples. Plenty of room to accommodate two cars inside the gates of the villa. The front garden has some lovely fruit trees and we enjoyed some delicious plums straight from the tree and added zing to our drinks with the lemons. Richard and Noirin are amazing, they make you so welcome and do all they can to make your stay hassle-free and relaxing. Compared to other villa experiences where faceless agents take the booking and key-holders see you in it’s a very welcome change to find owners like Richard and Noirin who welcome you in personally and are on-hand throughout if needed. They are the real faces of Place in Puglia.
